Illegals Being Diffused Throughout Nation

I was distinctly told that bussing illegal aliens to other cities was racist, but here we are. Realize that there is an entire infrastructure now built to quickly move illegal aliens to towns, big and small, all over America.

DENVER (AP) — As weary migrants arrive in Denver on buses from the U.S.-Mexico border city of El Paso, Texas, officials offer them two options: temporary shelter or a bus ticket out.

Nearly half of the 27,000 migrants who arrived in Denver since November 2022 have chosen the bus, plane or train tickets to other cities in the U.S., city data shows. In New York and Illinois, taxpayer dollars also are being spent on tickets, creating a shuffle of migrants in the interior U.S. who need shelter, food and medical assistance as they await rulings on asylum cases that can take years.

The transfer of migrants has gained momentum since Republican governors in Texas and Florida started chartering buses and planes to Democratic-led cities in what critics waved off as political stunts. More than a year later, some of those cities, their resources dwindling, are eager to help migrants move on to their final destinations.

An honest Press would report arrests of illegals for various crimes committed in their US locations.

We don’t have an honest press.

Your tax dollars at work. It’s forced cost distribution and, no, they don’t care what you think about it. By the time most dullards even realize what’s happening it will be way too late to object. Not that your objections actually matter, doncha know. They don’t mind a little bitching as long as you remain good little deplorables and continue to foot the bills.

My favorite thing is watching sides try to equate one situation with another. The republican governors lied and told people that better places were waiting for them with more resources and then moved them to places that were NOT ready for them, dropping them off and abandoning them. Nothing of the sort was happening here, they were asked and given an honest option.

Or maybe Owen wants to show a few moments of non-rioting on 1/6 and claim it was all peaceful too?

Or maybe taking anyone who feels that Palestine should be free and trying to throw the antisemitism label at them? Because if you think that all the people of Palestine support the terrorists Hamas, then you must think that all the people in the US support the current Biden administration, right?

Lumping things together is really easy. But it fails to serve your point.

    Look! Squirrel!

If Obama 3.0 didn’t have such an irresponsible illegal immigration policy on the southern border you wouldn’t need to argue about its consequences. One is a direct cause of the other. Biden & Company own 100% of this mess.

Merlin, I never said they didn’t own it. Every administration owns it as soon as it becomes their administration. And no administration has been able to fix it in any significant long term way.

The republicans don’t actually WANT to fix it. Like the democrats and abortion, they want to use it as a wedge issue to push out their base.

  6. Merlin

    >Every administration owns it as soon as it becomes their administration.

No, they own it because they radically changed immigration policy by refusing to enforce established immigration law and have overtly hindered any attempts at state and local immigration law enforcement. They did not inherit a problem, they created one… although they don’t categorize it as a problem. Their politically advantageous goal here is to restock a permanent underclass.

Republican lawmakers are not in charge of immigration law enforcement. Proof positive is the WH’s absolute refusal to allow the southern states to enforce their borders with Mexico. Further federal legislation would be pointless. Obama 3.0 is getting exactly what they want.

Side note. Everyone calling this “Obama 3.0”, you realize that Obama was one of the most liked presidents based on approval and disapproval ratings. And equating Biden to Obama is actually GOOD for him?!? Unlike tying current politicians to Trump, look how that has turned out. Biden vs Trump 2.0 will be fun again, I am sure.

And you are proving my point for me. Trump had a majority and didn’t do squat for immigration LAW (not “policy”). But sure, blame it on the “deep state” I am sure. Every president and congress kicks the can down the road because they don’t want to deal with it (or anything for that matter).

And equating Biden to Obama is actually GOOD for him?!?

Yes. As any fool can plainly see, it’s worked wonders for Biden, hasn’t it? What’s his approval rating now…….28% or so?

  9. dad29

    Trump had a majority

    Flawed premise

and didn’t do squat for immigration LAW (not “policy”)

    Meaningless conclusion.

Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell were owned by interests (ag, meatpacking, and others) who demanded cheap labor. Trump was not–recall that he had zero significant corporate donors to his campaign.

If you had read the newspapers you would know that Trump was VERY serious about building the wall and got quite a bit done despite the Republican and Democrat total opposition.

“The republicans don’t actually WANT to fix it. Like the democrats and abortion, they want to use it as a wedge issue to push out their base.”
Chamber of Commerce republicans might support increased immigration. But they are in a small.minority of the GOP.
But the vast majority of conservatives do not support illegal immigration
Having gone through the process of legally going the immigration route, it completely sucks that all these illegals are getting into the country illegally, getting free things, taking away from true Americans.
But the Democrats own this issue and they are getting hammered on it.

    True.

But they cough up the vast majority of the PAC money.

By the way, MAR, how’re things in Ukraine? Is the Glorious Victory of Zelenskiy here yet?
