This is happening in the U.S. too. And it’s harming and killing more than cancer sufferers.
Almost 18,000 more people with cancer in England could die after the coronavirus pandemic led hospitals to suspend treatment and deterred patients from seeking NHS care, research has found.
Cancer experts claim that an extra 6,270 people in England who have been newly diagnosed with the disease could die from it over the next 12 months as a direct result of the disruption caused by coronavirus, and the additional toll taking into account all those living with cancer could be 17,915.
That is an increase of 20% on the 89,576 deaths among cancer patients recorded annually in England, according to the latest available statistics.
Awful socialists. Just awful.
Panic causes deaths.
Well, lookee here, jjf and Le Roi wrong again, which is not surprising.
The Trump drug helps 91% of the people it was given to, as said by medical experts.
Le ROI is still perfect as to be never being right while jjf is not far behind.
“…a collection of anecdotal reports….”. Some with N=2.
You guys need to learn how to read. Ha!
Cherry picked fact, you need to learn… just learn.
And there goes Le Roi, wishing for more deaths.
A normal person would be happy that a drug, whether it was mentioned by the president or not, would be happy that a drug is helping in this crisis.
But no, but Le Roi and other liberals are not normal people.
If it hurts the president, then it is good, even if it kills people.
Yeah, Mar… I’ll use your own words. Do you know it with 100% certainty?
Nazi Nort admonishes: You guys need to learn how to read.
Brought to you by the same numbnutz who, while again chiding others’ reading skills, failed to actually read yet claimed “The VA study is far more scientific, “ and proof of the drug’s failure as a treatment.
Nazi Nort’s hypocrisy knows no bounds.
Know what, jjf?
You know I’m wrong, but science doesn’t know the age of the Earth, right?
An anecdotal report, based on an N of 2 is far from any semblance of scientific. You might as well ask your brother-in-laws cousin for their opinion.
Mar found other reports that said it didn’t work, but he didn’t link to them. What does that indicate about his motives?
>Mar found other reports that said it didn’t work, but he didn’t link to them.
That’s a bald faced lie.
From his link… “Some of the reports in the table are relatively large trials, such as Dr Vladmir Zelenko’s treatment of 405 out of 1,345 coronavirus patients in New York with hydroxychloroquine, and even the Veteran Affairs study of more than 200 patients. ”
>What does that indicate about his motives?
You didnt even read, what does that indicate about your motives. Cant have a civil conversation with a liar.
>An anecdotal report, based on an N of 2 is far from any semblance of scientific. You might as well ask your brother-in-laws cousin for their opinion.
Hey cherry picker, theres a lot more data there than a single report based on N of 2… you might want to ask a first grader to help you.
Uh oh, Jason’s caught the liar disease. Awful. Just awful! And the name-calling disease!
Jealous Johnny tries to pivot from being called out with facts…. again. Poor little Johnny thinks he’s being cyber bullied. Johnny just can’t handle adult conversation at this point in his life. Poor Snowflake Johnny.
