“I don’t do cover-ups”

If I were a Democrat, I’d be pretty ticked at the stupidity of my own party. Perhaps more than any other modern president, Trump loves to make a deal and isn’t guided by an overriding ideology. The Democrats could actually isolate the Republican Senate and push some of their own initiatives through if they would actually try to work with the president. Instead, they crap all over him and don’t get anywhere.

President Donald Trump abruptly walked out of a meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., at the White House on Wednesday, telling reporters moments later that he would not negotiate on legislation with Democrats while he was still under investigation by several committees.

Wednesday’s meeting was supposed to be the second official sit-down between the president and Democratic congressional leadership specifically focused on infrastructure.

“I walked into the room and I told Sen. Schumer and Speaker Pelosi, ‘I want to do infrastructure’ … but we can’t do it under these circumstances,” Trump said at a last-minute Rose Garden event.

Trump’s anger appears to have been sparked by comments Pelosi made earlier in the day when she said, “We believe the president of the United States is engaged in a cover-up” by blocking White House aides from giving testimony and responding to document requests from ongoing congressional investigations.

“I don’t do cover-ups,” Trump insisted Wednesday.

It’s interesting that Pelosi will pray to God for all of us… as long as we haven’t been pushed out of a womb yet. Does she have an aid that follows her around with a misting spray? I’m quite sure she can no longer blink.

The Democrat circus has become so ridiculous that now even Robert Mueller is declining to ride in their clown car.

Reagan and Clinton were investigated but they got things done with a hostile Congress.

Neither was scared off by a woman saying mean /
    Truthful things about them .

Art of the Deal – hah!

    Truthful things???

  5. guinness

The truth is that Pelosi told her lies to avoid accomplishing anything. They’re desperate to prevent Trump from getting credit for anything positive.

In typical Trump style, Trump is directly and publicly accusing the Democrats of a coverup. But a coverup of what?

Trump has delegated AG Barr authority to unilaterally unseal highly secret classified documents related to the Obama-era intelligence community’s initial operations regarding the origins of the suspected Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign. Barr has had Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham working a grand jury investigating for a couple of months already, conducting an inquiry into alleged misconduct and improper government surveillance on the Trump campaign in 2016 and whether Democrats “improperly colluded with foreign actors”. The DoJ inspector general is also running a somewhat parallel investigation.

For Barr to receive such powers might be an indication that Durham is being stonewalled by the intelligence folks hiding behind a classification cloak. Brennan, Clapper, and Comey have gone quiet recently after a couple of years of unrelenting Trump criticism. The always quiet Loretta Lynch is finally finding her voice. Joe Biden was linked to a direct action role in this mess from its origin, but Slow Joe is choosing to remain silent so far.

It’s interesting to note that Durham’s grand jury investigation and the DoJ inspector general’s inquiry don’t leak like a sieve and are being absolutely ignored by the MSM.

Z-Man posts another theory on the “statement” from Trump about not negotiating until the Democrats get off their moronic track….He thinks that Trump lied to the press and that in reality, Schumer/Pelosi offered to quit their game, but Trump turned them down flat, as Trump now has all the aces in his hand.  That includes the ace that Trump can drop into the mix when Biden secures the nomination—that Biden was in on this from Day One.

    Buy popcorn futures.

Hopefully, they all get what’s coming to them. His second term could be more painful than they ever imagined.

  9. dad29

    ….all that’s coming to them……..

Wouldn’t be costly, either!  About fifty cents/round of .30-06 per traitor.

  10. jjf

    Har, har!  Dad29, you’re so pro-life!

  11. dad29

Jiffy, you still haven’t answered my question:  is it a HUMAN life, or a Buick?  Or a raccoon?

  12. jjf

Clearly it’s where babies come from.  You see, Dad29, when a man and a woman like each other very much…

The deeper question is, what would be a sufficient answer for you, and what form would it take?

I might as well ask if the woman a Buick, something you can buy and sell and force?  Does she have an extraordinary say in what happens to herself?  If there was a parasitic twin growing on your side, could I keep you from removing it?

You want your view, a religious view, to trump all.

Except when it comes to using guns to kill political enemies, even ones in your own country.  Then Jesus says it’s OK!

  13. dad29

Sufficiency:  answer the question.  Is the embryo a HUMAN?

I understand that you must be silly and shallow here, making it all “religious” because the you want to exclude a discussion of nature and natural law.

While it won’t last long, there should be a proper trial before sentence of execution.  Some people NEED killing, Jiffy.  That’s why there’s a death penalty.

  14. jjf

By nature and natural law, you mean your religion, yes?  I doubt you’d believe anything that wasn’t a part of your religion.  You are at least consistent in many respects.

Is an embryo a human?  You think that question gets you closer to a political answer?

At least we have some science in the discussion.  We might all agree on the basic physical facts of what’s happening inside a woman when she’s pregnant.

Would you like to call everything along the continuum a “human”?  A sperm and an egg, they’re not human until they come together as one?  You want to extend some rights to it along the way, but not others?

A star singer in this opera is likely to be former Obama NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers. It was Rogers who first informed President-elect Trump that members of his campaign and transition team were under direct U.S. electronic surveillance and that the Trump Tower transition offices were compromised.  Rogers was the source of Trump’s “wiretapping” claim that the Democrats and MSM found so incredibly hilarious at the time.

The NSA was being grossly abused by the Obama WH, by Susan Rice and Lisa Monaco in particular, unmasking American citizens for political purposes through the use of fraudulent FISC applications. Rogers was not a member of the very select group directing the counterintelligence coup against Trump, but Rogers can certainly point Durham where he needs to go. That cabal was so small that the principals weren’t even allowed to have an aide present during meetings…  and the audio and video feeds from the Situation Room were disabled to further obscure their activity.

Maybe Durham can chat up John Roberts and his FISC judges under oath to see if they realized to what extent the FISC was being absolutely gang raped by the Obama WH.

  16. dad29

Natural law is congruent with any orthodox religion.

Answer the question:  is it HUMAN post-conception?  You have a very difficult time with that, John.  Why?

  17. jjf

Of course it’s human.  What else would it be?  Buick?  Cancer is human when it’s from a human.  The sperm and the egg are human pre-conception, too, right?

  18. jjf

And Dad29…  circumcision, is that HUMAN?

  19. dad29

Cancer is human when it’s from a human.

No.  Cancer is not “human.”  What is the matter with your brain, Jiffy?

  20. dad29

Sperm and egg, pre-conception, are not “human.”

Now that you’ve admitted what has been  common knowledge for centuries, John, tell me this:  is that “human” a criminal?

  21. jjf

Oh, I see.  You wanted the word “HUMAN” to have some special properties to suit your religious beliefs and arguments.  Not just tissue from a human, but some other special sauce.  What’s the special sauce?  Does it prevent me from legislating that you can’t remove any tissue from your body?  As soon as the baby is born, you can snip at it?

  22. dad29

Sorry, John, but this ain’t specifically religious.  It’s called “science.”  Your religious views–those of Moloch–are specifically refuted by science.  And you should stay away from the special sauce before you post in the combox; that way you might type comprehensible stuff, unlike Moloch’s little sister Nancy Pelosi.

  23. dad29

Now let’s get back to the question:  is that human a criminal?

  24. Le Roi du Nord

“No.  Cancer is not “human.” “.

Well, when they cut that melanoma off my back, it sure wasn’t Martian cells. They were 100% Wisconsin born and bred human.

Your reference to “science” is really hilarious.  I didn’t know this was a humor blog…

  25. jjf

Le Roi, see, it’s science.  Sperm and egg and melanoma, they come from humans, but they’re not HUMAN.

The parasitic twin on Dad29’s back, he can’t trim it off because it’s HUMAN.
