Trump to Choose Mike Pence as VP

Huh.

Donald J. Trump’s campaign has signaled strongly to Republicans in Washington that he will pick Mike Pence, the governor of Indiana, as his running mate, though Republicans caution the party’s mercurial presidential candidate may still backtrack on his apparent choice.

Mr. Trump’s advisers have told national Republican officials that they are preparing to make an announcement with Mr. Pence, according to three people with knowledge of the conversations, who were not authorized to discuss them publicly. His campaign has said that it will unveil a running mate for Mr. Trump in New York on Friday.

It’s a pretty sensible choice, which is why it surprises me that Trump made it.

    Wow.

After Scott Walker, can’t think of too many choices better for VP than this one.

If this is accurate, my support for GOP ticket may get a hard look.

I would have thought Trump to pick Bernie Sanders for VP before Mike Pence.

What happened to all that “trump is a liberal !!” talk from you? But we all knew you would never vote fro anyone but the big pumpkin. You guys are kindred souls.

    Makes sense .

Pence is in trouble in Indiana in his re-election bid in Indiana .

The delay in the announcement will make this all obvious since Pence needs to declare 7/15 if he wants out of the governors race

    Baldy, Mark,

I’m liking this VP choice even more after seeing your input.

    Thanks.

I did order my “Hillary for Prison 2016” yard sign today.

He helps Trump with the Far Right .

He supported a bill to limit abortions federally to ” force able rape”. It would literally have redefined the term

And he signed the bill to allow discrimination against Gays in Indiana then ran to stop the economic backlash

Not sure how that plays to anyone else

But he never actually got a law passed in 10 years in Congress and the Republicans in Indiana are thrilled they can put someone else up with less baggage per the Indy Star

In the end, no one votes for the VP .
You vote for Trump , you get Trump 24/7
