Driver Killed In Milwaukee After Stopping for Accident

Horrible all around.

A driver in Milwaukee was fatally shot Sunday afternoon when he stayed on the scene after his van struck and killed a 2-year-old child, Milwaukee police said.

A 15-year-old at the scene was also shot and was taken to a hospital.

Capt. Timothy Heier reported that the toddler ran into the street at 5:10 p.m. in the 4600 block of N. 48th St., according to a news release.

The driver of the van, a 41-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspects are in custody, police said.

Another violent chapter in a story that never seems to end

At this time last year, Milwaukee had reported 14 homicides compared with 39 this year, Mayor Tom Barrett said. Of those 39, most are African-Americans.

Police have taken 628 illegal guns off the street so far this year, up 19% from this time last year. There have been more charges resulting from gun crimes this year in Milwaukee than in New York City, the mayor said.

Illegal gun confiscations up 19% over last year – homicides up by 180%. Somethings not working, what it is I don’t know.

Well, the no snitch policy in the inner city of Milwaukee is in full force.
I am sure there are more than a few witnesses and people who know who did the shooting but they are not talking.
    Black lives matter…no they don’t.
