al-Baghdadi Dead

This is a man who perpetrated a terrorist regime and a genocide of non-Islamists. Thanks to our Special Forces for getting this job done.

The fugitive leader of the Islamic State (IS) group has been killed in a US military operation in northwest Syria, President Donald Trump has said.

Speaking from the White House, Mr Trump said Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi detonated his suicide vest after being caught at the end of a tunnel by special forces.

Baghdadi came to prominence in 2014, when he announced the creation of a “caliphate” in areas of Iraq and Syria.

And thanks to a C-In-C who made it a point to get the goblin, too!!

  2. Kevin Scheunemann

    Well done special forces!

Thank you to President Trump for your leadership against evil!

  3. Pat

Job well done, Special Forces and US Intelligence.

  4. Mar

Thank goodness Trump didn’t tell the Democrats about the raid ahead if time. Someone woukd blabbed about the raid ahead of time and ruined the raid.

  5. jjf

Kevin, in the words of Trump on October 22, 2012, “Stop congratulating Obama for killing Bin Laden. The Navy Seals killed Bin Laden” and “Why don’t we ask the Navy SEALs who killed Bin Laden? They don’t seem to be happy with Obama claiming credit. All he did is say O.K.”

Mar, do you think that Trump revealed too much about our tactics during his explanation of the raid?

  6. Mar

jjf, I might br wrong, but didn’t Trump give the recognition to the troops?
As far as Trump giving out the information, no, I think gave about the right amount of information. I found it very interesting that they brought a robot with them along with the dogs. Both high and low tech.
The only issue I had with Trump is he thought it was cool watching the feed. Bad guys or not, people were getting killed in front of his eyes. To me, thats not cool.

  7. Le Roi du Nord

To bad our tin hat dictator didn’t give credit to the Kurds, who supplied most of the on-the-ground intelligence catch this bad guy. Cadet bone spurs would rather take credit himself.

  8. dad29

As usual, LeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeRoy doesn’t know the facts.  Trump clearly credited the Kurds–along with the Turks, Russkies, Iraqis, etc.

    Review the tape, LeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeRoy.

  9. jjf

Well, Dad29, Trump tooted his own horn several times before thanking anyone else, but that’s what we should expect from him, no?

  10. Le Roi du Nord

Yup dud, ask those Kurds how grateful they are to t-rump for putting them harms way.

  11. Merlin

Doesn’t seem to be any media attention being given to the fact that the guy was another catch and release graduate from the failed Club Gitmo school of rehabilitation.

  12. dad29

Mar, I’m sure you know by now that Lefties abhor verifiable facts, so they simply make up their own and shout loudly.

But it sure as Hell is fun ramming verified facts up their nethers, ain’a?

  13. Le Roi du Nord

    did:

It isn’t just “Lefties”, there are plenty of self-proclaimed “conservatives” on this site that are fact averse. And just look at the R leadership that we now tolerate. Give credit where credit is due.

  14. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

I did give credit to Obama for one of those rare times where he showed leadership courage against evil in giving go ahead to take out bin laden.

    I am consistent.

Why are you not in your Trump derangement?

  15. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

You have slammed Obama at every and all opportunities, so if that is what you mean by consistent, yes you are. And you are pretty consistent with your aversion to facts (like the age of the earth, evolution, and absolute truth).

And I have consistently said that trump is a buffoon, an adulterer, and a con man, who is no more a “conservative” than my golden retriever, who by the way, has a larger vocabulary..

  16. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

I congratulated Obama when it was deserved, as it was in case of destruction of Bin Laden.

One of few times he destroyed evil instead of embracing evil.

  17. MjM

    Oh, look….

Nort claims: “To bad our tin hat dictator didn’t give credit to the Kurds,.”

    Lie.

Jiffy claims: “Well, Dad29, Trump tooted his own horn several times before thanking anyone else,”

    Lie.

    Speaking of buffoons…

  18. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord does lie a lot.

He does same exact thing with facts of my positions.

  19. jjf

“Capturing or killing Baghdadi has been the top national security priority of my Administration.”

Prior to this announcement, did anyone here think that capturing Baghdadi  was a priority for this administration?

Well, he thanked Russia, Turkey, Syria and Iraq before his own “soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines” and our generals, but who’s counting?

  20. Le Roi du Nord

45 also said he wants folks like Exxon-Mobil to take over the oil fields in Syria.  Not the Syrians, but a US company.  Does he foresee another colonial era for the US?

  21. dad29

did anyone here think that capturing Baghdadi  was a priority for this administration?

What YOU think remains irrelevant, Jiffy.

None of us expect Trump to talk openly about priorities regarding a kill-list.  Not even Obozo was that stupid.

  22. Kevin Scheunemann

Good conservatives cheered when Obama, got Bin Laden.

Liberals seem to be sneering now when Trump gets someone as big.

    Disgusting liberalism on display.

We should all be in unison cheering job well done.

  23. Merlin

Why Russia, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and the Kurds got a public attaboy is utterly lost on libs. The message was received abroad five by and no acknowledgment was required or expected. Lefties should be taking notes.

  24. Mar

Obviously jjf and LeRoi did not read what Trump actually said.
Trump praised the heck out of throops before he thanked those countries and the Kurds.
As far as the oil, yes, he mentioned Exxon, but only in conjunction with the Kurds. And if the contract was fair to everyone. And why shouldn’t we get some of the oil revenue? After all the money we spent there, we should get a little return. But the main reason we are there is to protect the oil fields from the terrorists.

  25. Jason

    >Obviously jjf and LeRoi did not read what Trump actually said.

LeRoy is pathological when it comes to misunderstanding what Trump said – a long history of being caught lying about it.

  26. dad29

he wants folks like Exxon-Mobil to take over the oil fields in Syria.

Yah, because “folks like Exxon-Mobil” KNOW HOW TO RUN THOSE FIELDS.

By the way, ‘taking over the fields’ is a long, long, way from ‘taking all the profits from the oil.’

So.  You have a better idea, I’m sure.  We’re waiting!!

  27. Mar

In addition, they will need somone who has the capital, the know how and talented employees to badically start from scratch.
Le Roi, do really want to enrich tge terrorist Assad dictaorship?

  28. Le Roi du Nord

Hey jason, perhaps you could explain in your own unique style what trump really meant when he talked about building the wall in Colorado (and for extra credit – is Mexico paying for it?); or how there were British airports in the 1770’s; and any and all of the 12000+ lies he has told while in office.  Come on, here is your big chance….

  29. dad29

Can’t answer the questions, eh, LeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeRoy?

C’mon, pal.  Put on your big boy pants and show us how to respond to facts before your Mom takes away your computer again.

  30. Merlin

Break out a map or two and take a look at where these oil fields are located. Look at the topography and the geographic military choke points on any Iranian movement westward. We’re parking readily defensible armor on a land bridge between Iran and Syria. Initial troop level at 500 with regional force multipliers and ramp up capabilities already present. What, if anything, is being prepositioned east of there across northern Iraq is not drawing media attention at all. We have a quiet buildup in progress with the Saudis as well. I don’t think they’re negotiating oil field service contracts.

  31. jjf

Wow, Dad29, you must’ve been a real charmer on the playground.  You’ve carried this behavior throughout your long life, and on to the Internets?

  32. Jason

    >Come on, here is your big chance….

Big chance for what?  Respond to your idiotic deflection?  I’ll let you continue truffle hunting at the dog park; it’s actually quite amusing to watch.

  33. Mar

Gee, jjf and Le Roi, throwing up the white flag so soon?
Why cant you just admit you were wrong and move on?

  34. jjf

It’s the mote and the beam all over again.  I said “Trump tooted his own horn several times before thanking anyone else” and this upsets you and demands a retraction?

OK, I’ll rephrase.  Trump tooted his own horn as much as many Presidents have done in similar situations, then he tooted for his pal Russia, then the soldiers.  And it’s true, I’m used to Trump promoting himself at every turn.

  35. Mar

Again, jjf, you lied. Compare the speevh between Obama and Trump. It’s very simple to do since I provided you the links.
A simple “I was wrong” will suffice.

  36. Le Roi du Nord

That wasn’t a deflection j, it was an opportunity to use you stable genius and great and unmatched wisdom to mansplain to all of us how I misunderstand what trump says.  So here is your big chance to explain such things as the British airports during the Revolutionary War, the home-made weather map predicting the Alabama hurricane, the Colorado wall, nuking hurricanes, cancer causing windmills, covfefe, or any of the myriad of nonsense he says and tweets.    So ‘splain away, fella.

  37. Jason

I love it Leroy, like I said, quite entertaining.  Wash your hands when you’re done.

  38. Le Roi du Nord

So you can’t explain those claims, eh?  And who is doing the misunderstanding?

  39. Le Roi du Nord

    Pat:

I saw that.  Great post and certainly fitting.  And now it looks like trump made up all the whimpering by baghdadi as well.  Even the generals question where he came up with that..  But I’m sure j can explain it to us.

  40. Pat

Many people say he uses only the best words, that I can tell you.

  41. dad29

Trump got the airports, weather maps, walls, (etc) same place as Obozo got his 57 States and keeping your health insurance.

And while you children here and in the Press run around with your hair on fire, the adult in the room (Trump) gets things done in Korea, Red China, NATO, Syria, and on the southern soon-to-be-border.

    Now run along and play.

  42. Pat

    The oxymoron of the day:
    Trump / adult

    Bwahahahaha. Good one, Dud.

  43. Le Roi du Nord

Yup, we got that tariff thingie going with China, and the Mexicans are paying for the wall, the Norks backed out of the nuke deal, and all our former allies think we are nuts.  News at 11.

  44. Mar

Pat, what people says President Trump uses ‘only the best words’. Please name some with their quotes please.

  45. Mar

Le Roi, if that’s all you have, that’s really pathetic. I mean, seriously, who really cares? I guess the bat shit crazy people care, but no one else does.

  46. Mar

That’s funny Le Roi since you lie so much.
So, you hold people to higher standards than yourself?

  47. Jason

    >So you can’t explain those claims, eh? And who is doing the misunderstanding?

You have truffles all over your fingers Leroy. How would discussing what you’ve said prove that you haven’t been wrong countless times in the past. That’s why I said it’s a distraction, and that’s why I’m not playing your childish game… we all know you’re guilty of it and why. Idiot.

  48. Le Roi du Nord

    j:

Just like your idol, making nonsensical claims that you can’t back up, then calling the doubters names to hide your inability to live up to your own low bar.

    Sad.

  49. Jason

How do them truffles taste Leroy? You have nothing else, dummy.

  50. Pat

”I know words. I have the best words.”
    Donald Trump

  51. Mar

Pat, you said many say Trump uses the best words. Besides Trump, who else says that?

  52. dad29

all our former allies think we are nuts

    And you know this………how?

Why don’t you compile a list of “former” allies of the US and then provide specific quotations to prove your allegation?
