Bumbling Biden

He may be losing it.

‘Everybody knows who Donald Trump is. Even his supporters know who he is. We gotta let them know who we are. We choose unity over division. We choose science over fiction. We choose truth over facts,’ he said.

He referred to himself as ‘President of the United States’ later while responding to a question from DailyMail.com about gun control.

[…]

The question was on gun violence prevention, and what makes him the right person to enact new reforms.

‘Because I’ve done it before. As President of the United States, I’ve done it. I met with every one of those Sandy Hook family members. Every one of them. I met, the same, with every one of the Pulse, the people who got killed in the Pulse nightclub,’ he said of an Orlando shooting that took place several months before he and Obama left office.

Biden was Vice President of the United States at the time of the massacre.

    Senile.

Maybe? When has he had it?

How long ago did the plagiarism charges against Biden come out?  Was that 1987 or 1988?  I do know it was during the 1988 campaign.

Thank you, Owen, for being so on top of the truly important issues of our times.

Thank you jjf for being so on top of reading a blog and being so honestly critical of it’s content.   You’re the alpha social justice warrior and have properly shamed all of us.  You dirty troll.

Biden has always been awful at ad lib commentary. He needs to stop trying to out-lib his competitors and stick to prepared remarks more in keeping with his character. Stepping out of character just doesn’t work for him. He isn’t Trump and he certainly isn’t of the Democrat jihadi crowd. Many of the country’s voters would be much more comfortable with Joe just being Joe.

    >Many of the country’s voters would be much more comfortable with Joe just being Joe.

As long as that excludes touching and hair smelling, right?

  8. jjf

Come now, Jason.  This Biden development is quite serious.  It’s right up there with Obama and the 57 states.  How could this man be running for President, if he doesn’t even understand that he’s not President now?  That’s the evil depths of the confusion we’re dealing with here!

Calm down, little Social Justice jjf.  We’re just giving Biden the “Trump treatment”.   Maybe you need a Covfefe ?

I dunno. Until very recently that was all part of China Joe’s lifelong charm. That and his gaffe-a-minute public communication skills the Democrats have always found so amusing.

Slow Joe is still a devoted liberal and was much loved by the MSM until the jihadis came on the scene. Suddenly both Biden and Obama have earned the contempt of the media darling jihadis for not being radical enough and Slow Joe is being brutally stripped of his charm by his own folks.

Voters don’t always follow the script being written for them, and unlike the Republicans, Democrats can negate their wayward voters with superdelegates at the convention. Uncle Joe may do just fine with voters and control the superdelegates. The upcoming primary season should be very interesting.

Merlin, I thought the Dems changed the rules about superdelegates?

I guess you could call it a reformed process. They sit out the first ballot, then it’s back to business as usual. It’s no coincidence that there are 20+ candidates this time around considerably lessening the probability that a single runaway candidate will be able to avoid a brokered convention. The Bernie malcontents thought they got one over on the old guard. Not so much.

    You dirty troll.

Nah.  I met him once.  Looked like his Mom had washed his face that day.

    touching and hair smelling

In Iowa, he’s elevated his game to assault and battery of ‘smart-ass’ college girls who ask simple questions.  That’s perfectly consistent with the way he treated a kid at Culver’s in Glendale (?) when he was campaigning in ’07.

Joe expects R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!!! and he’ll show you who’s BOSS if he doesn’t get it.

  15. MjM

Daddio sez, “Looked like his Mom had washed his face that day.”

Yeah, but how many days/weeks/months/years ago was that?

More from the Swiss cheese brain if Joe Biden:

“Eight more years of Trump will change America in a fundamental way,”.
“Those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president.”
“…the tragic events in Houston today and also in Michigan the day before,”
“As Barack says, you know, we bent the arc, the curve, toward justice.”

    Biden Moldy Oldies:

“If we do everything right, if we do it with absolute certainty, there’s still a 30% chance we’re going to get it wrong.”
“I’m told Chuck Graham, state senator, is here. Stand up Chuck, let ’em see you. ”
“You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking.”
“I’m proud to be President of the United States.”
“Hey, does your husband like to sleep with the Vice President, because I’m trying to convince Jill it’s a good idea.”

@Eggman: Biden quit the 1988 race in Sept of ‘87 after getting caught stealing a speech from British Labour leade.
