It was truly amazing for those of us that were able to witness the start of the space race through the landing on the moon.
This is one of reasons we won the cold war against those godless liberal communists.

Just proves you can do anything if you throw enough money at it. I doubt that could happen today.
Mars is next on our list.
What most people miss is how much technology magically appeared because of the space program. A multitude of things we take for granted today wouldn’t even exist.
