SCOTUS Leaves Transgender Bathroom Policy In Place

I agree with this decision.

Washington (CNN)The Supreme Court on Tuesday left in place a lower court ruling in favor of a Pennsylvania school district policy that allows some transgender students to use bathrooms that match their gender identity.

This case is a challenge to a Pennsylvania’s school district’s policy that allows some transgender students to use bathrooms that match their gender identity. The plaintiffs are students who say the policy violates their privacy rights and constitutes sexual harassment in violation of Title IX, a federal law that bars discrimination based on sex in educational institutions that receive federal funds.
Tuesday’s ruling was issued without comment.
In court papers, lawyers for the plaintiffs argue that “forcing a teenager to share a locker room or restroom with a member of the opposite sex can cause embarrassment and distress.”
We don’t need, or want, the courts to decide every societal disagreement. This is a cultural issue that people can work out for themselves. If the folks in that Pennsylvania school district want to let people pick their own bathroom, fine. If the folks in Colorado have a different opinion, that’s fine too. The court should just leave some things alone for people to decide.

How do you propose that common folks work out cultural issues among themselves when representative government consistently defers to the judiciary? When the judiciary consistently and sympathetically defers to the societal misfits?

Not wanting the courts to decide societal disagreements is no longer practical. This is precisely the method by which our societal misfits have come to consistently force their dysfunction upon the rest of society.  The legislative will of voting majorities becomes useless if the judicial branch of government doesn’t feel bound by anything more than the piety of their own precedents.

Judges and prosecutors currently have greater political value than our traditionally elected representatives. Politicization of the judiciary is here to stay. Failure to engage just means we’re going to continue to lose to the misfits.

Societal misfits?  That’s no way to talk about Republicans!

These creatures are not exactly “misfits.”  They are insane–which makes them natural Democrat voters.

At some point in time, somebody is going to say to SCOTUS:  “So you have ruled.  Now go ahead and enforce it,”  and simply ignore the bastards.

This misfit enabling policy is sold as wonderful… until a rapist, identifying as a woman, rapes some girl in the bathroom….

Why would that change anything? Stupid is forever. Catering to the vocal minority, when they know something is wrong, shows how weak minded liberals are. Transgender bathrooms do not support human rights, they remove them.

    how weak minded liberals are

Not just “liberals.”  Pussy Pubbies are right in there, too.

    What does “pussy” mean, Dad29?
