Evers Vows to Let People Kill Babies

What a monstrously immoral man.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) promised to veto a “born alive” abortion bill if the GOP-backed legislation makes it to his desk.

The bill, introduced last week, hasn’t yet been voted on in any relevant legislative committees. Still, Evers told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinelthat he would veto the bill, citing existing protections and criminal penalties under Wisconsin state law.

“I think those protections already exist,” Evers told the newspaper. “We have all sorts of issues to deal with in the state of Wisconsin and to pass a bill that is redundant seems to be not a productive use of time. And clearly I ran on the belief — and I still believe — that women should be able to make choices about their health care. But this deals with a specific issue that’s already been resolved.”

That’s a BS excuse. If the law would be redundant, as he claims, then what’s the harm in signing it? The truth is that Planned Parenthood and the abortion fascists are pushing to have infanticide legal and Evers supports it too.

    Liberals are baby killers.

No other way to sugarcoat the evil Tony Evers supports.

    He is reprehensible.

Evers could have legitimately avoided commenting altogether on such a new proposal. The polite “female reproductive health” euphemism’s value has been dropping like a rock since the advent of legal infanticide and this wasn’t a cow pile he needed to step in… yet. He’s prematurely pissed away time to gauge just how receptive middle-of-the-road Wisconsin voters are to infanticide and Christian-shaming. His party’s hardcore may not be queasy about killing inconvenient life, but his hardcore alone aren’t enough to get him reelected.

Republicans should run with the new bill, redundant or not, thereby putting all Wisconsin state legislators and Evers on record having voted for or against infanticide. Let our aging voting population decide if having allowed baby killing by any name is the legacy they want to leave behind.

No such thing as pro-choice. It’s either pro-life or pro-death. The sooner everyone starts calling it that, the better.

Looking like Evers will be a 1 term governor.

These bills are just a GOP trick, right?

  6. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

Preventing godless liberals from killing babies is a “GOP trick”.

There was a time that advocating baby killing meant your political career was dead. What made godless liberals so evil…like we see today?

  7. jjf

What makes WisGOP officials get so worked up about problems that don’t exist?

  8. Kevin Scheunemann

    jjf,

If it “does not exist” why do Democrats oppose protecting babies?

  9. Mar

    jjf, it’s called prevention.

I’d like to pass a law to prevent leprechauns having their Lucky Charms stolen.

    Jjf,

Way to take focus off liberal baby killing.

    Awful, Just Awful.

jjf,if you can convince enough legislators to pass the leprechaun bill, go for it. Of course, since you are just singling out leprechauns, I think you will be called a bigot.
