House Democrats Embrace Anti-Semitism

You aren’t condemning anti-Semitism if you are not willing to condemn the actual anti-Semites.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi cleared Rep. Ilhan Omar of intentional anti-Semitism in her controversial remarks that sparked outrage among Democrats and said the resolution the House will vote on Thursday condemning hate speech is not about the freshman lawmaker.

‘It’s not about her, it’s about these forms of hatred,’ Pelosi told reporters at the Capitol on Thursday.

‘I don’t think the congresswoman perhaps doesn’t appreciate how it was heard by other people although I don’t believe it was intended as anti-Semitic although that’s how it was interpreted,’ the speaker said.

The House will vote Thursday on a resolution condemning anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and white supremacy after internecine war developed among Democrats over comments from Omar.

So Pelosi has decided that rather than offending Muslims by condemning overt anti-Semitism, it would be a much better control strategy to offer up the explanation that the multiple-minority Omar is simply too stupid to make herself understood. Perhaps Nance plans on claiming truth as her defense.

  2. Kevin Scheunemann

Liberals have long been awful racists.

They have never been this open about their hate before.

    Awful. Just awful.

All Liberals need to resign for their failure against the hate here.

  3. Le Roi du Nord

And yet another blatant lie from from the king of lies.  Awful, just awful.  And sinful as well.  Repent while you still have time.

“Liberals have long been awful racists”.

  4. Pat

Ilhan Omar has been chastised more in the past week by Democrats, than Steve King has been by Republicans in 16 years.

  5. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

Omar is spouting off her hate every 5 minutes.

Steve King was removed from committees and should resign. King is also repentant.

Omar is unrepentant and her hate knows no bounds.

Will you demand her resignation? I demanded the repentant on my side resign.

You should have no problem demanding unrepentant evil resign?

  6. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

Proof KKK and David Duke have always been leftist.

    David Duke loves Omar!

What does that make you on your lack of denouncing Omar’s hate?

    http://dlvr.it/R0Nn3F

  7. Le Roi du Nord

Wow, now you use duke and the kkk as your source of “facts”.  Your moral standards are pretty fluid.   Awful, just awful.

  8. Pat

    Kevin,

I’m waiting for King to repent first.

  9. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

What is the matter? Don’t like realization you are aligned with KKK on Omar?

  10. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

Another lie.  But we expected no more, nor less.

    Pat:

k gets some perverse pleasure from twisting the words of others.  It must be a sad little life where no one takes him seriously.

  11. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

    Stop deflecting.

Will you denounce the anti-Semitic hate of Omar?

It’s such an easy question, even if you suffer from moral cowardice.

  12. Kevin Scheunemann

Her liberal hate just keeps getting worse:

    http://dlvr.it/R0QftF

  13. Kevin Scheunemann

Looks like AOC is taking the weak moral position local liberals here are taking.

Everyone is “too hard” on Omar’s hate:

(Yeah, when I see what libs are doing to Hagedorn for being a good, faithful Christian….no sympathy for the liberal insanity, weak denouncement of vile overt hate of Omar. BTW Omar has been supportive of Muslim “handling” of homosexuality in the past, which never involves forgiveness and grace in Islam!!!!)

    http://dlvr.it/R0R12h

  14. Pat

    Omar apologized on February 11th.

Democrats just passed a resolution condemning anti-Semitism.

  15. jjf

I dunno, GQ BLT just sounds more fancy and tasty.

  16. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

I’ll denounce all forms of hate, including your hatred for folks you don’t agree with.  But I still won’t root for the Bears….

  17. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

1.) That was not an apology on Feb 11. When she said she was sorry others did not understand what she was saying…that is blaming others

2.) she has reasserted similar hate comments this week, since her “apology”!

    Democrats have done little.

  18. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

But is Omar a form of hate in your book? You failed to define that.

I don’t hate people I disagree with, only the evil they advocate.

  19. Pat

    Kevin,

Lets just say she’s probably as repentant as King.

  20. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

    I would dispute that.

    King has shut up.

    Omar keeps spewing.

    Omar is openly unrepentant.

    Will you denounce her?

  21. Pat

    Kevin,

Is repentance dependent on whether or not someone shuts up. Or is it dependent on what’s in their soul?

  22. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

You don’t allow anyone but yourself to define anything.  So I won’t play your juvenile game.  I answered your question.

  23. Pat

    Omar’s public response:
“Anti-Semitism is real and I am grateful for Jewish allies and colleagues who are educating me on the painful history of anti-Semitic tropes. My intention is never to offend my constituents or Jewish Americans as a whole. We have to always be willing to step back and think through criticism, just as I expect people to hear me when others attack me for my identity. This is why I unequivocally apologize.”

“At the same time, I reaffirm the problematic role of lobbyists in our politics, whether it be AIPAC, the NRA or the fossil fuel industry. It’s gone on too long and we must be willing to address it.”

    An interesting read:
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/foreignpolicy.com/2019/02/15/how-and-how-not-to-talk-about-the-israel-lobby/amp/

  24. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

One is hardly repentant if they keep spewing anti-Semetic things.

If Steve King is back on the stupid train, I will criticize and denounce him as well.   He should resign.

    As well as Omar.

There.   Can you lefties say that as well?

Or do we defend Omar’s hate because somewhere, sometime, Steve King said something, .001% as bad as Omar, so therefore she can keep spewing?

  25. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

I have also posted the nonsense she has spewed since that 2/15 apology you posted.

Try to keep up with the liberal hate, if you are going to defend it.

    Nord,

I am not suprised by your moral cowardice here.

Hate is just dandy…when it comes from liberals.

  26. Pat

She must be smart. I wouldn’t give Doocy the time of day either.

  27. Kevin Scheunemann

Praising the hateful anti-Semite…why am I not surprised.

Can we get an honest denouncement of Omar from anyone left of center around here?

  28. jjf

You’re looking forward to Armageddon, aren’t you?

  29. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

    Just some honest, civil, liberals.

  30. Pat

    Kevin,

What’s wrong with JTA? Sounds like you might be the anti-Semite.

  31. Kevin Scheunemann

    PAt,

They have a puzzling liberal bias, which is shocking given all the anti-Semites on the liberals side.

  32. Pat

    Kevin,

Will Jewish people who live and practice their faith go to Heaven?

  33. Kevin Scheunemann

    PAt,

Those that have saving faith in Jesus will go to heaven.

  34. Pat

    Kevin,

They wouldn’t be living and practicing their Jewish faith, would they.

  35. Kevin Scheunemann

    PAt,

Possibly.    There are Jews who define being Jewish, by heritage and/or ethnicity and live in faith that Jesus is their Savior as a Christian.

It is a very diverse group…..however radical liberalism hates this group for some reason.

  36. jjf

Armageddon tired of all this evasion.

  37. Pat

    Kevin,

But you’re saying those who live and practice their Jewish faith won’t go to Heaven. Is that correct?

  38. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

Jesus is only way, and if one comes to faith, that includes anyone.

  39. Pat

    Kevin,

Okay, that would be a yes. God must be an anti-Semite.

  40. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

I did not say that. Who is brought to faith in Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, and when is a profound mystery that is not answerable on this earth.

We know for sure we cannot stand in our depraved, fallen sinful nature before a Holy Creator. Jesus is only one that can “clean our slate” to enter heaven. In the Old Testament believers were saved by the promise of a Savior. Today, we are saved by believing in the fulfillment of the Savior taking our sins away.

If believing in the promise of the Savior, as a Jew, and someone who gets to the judgement seat upon death and instantly knows Jesus is indeed that promise, will God let the Old Testament believer in? Or judge and punish the doubt of Jesus as Savior in this life? I am not qualified to say one way or the other.

My sinful nature would like to believe God would be merciful, however divine judgement, which is universally fair may, indeed, render a different outcome.

That is why it is important to emphasize Jesus is the only way in this life.

  41. Le Roi du Nord

    Pat:

We need to keep in mind that k gets to call the shots in kevinworld.  The rest of us mere mortals are just pawns in his imaginary authoritarian world.

  42. Pat

    Kevin,

So your god is an anti-Semite.

  43. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

That would be incorrect. He is a perfect being. If the imperfect insist on denying the only way the imperfect can be perfect, that is not God’s fault.

I am not convinced all “Jews” today reject Jesus as Savior.

All Jews are able to embrace the free gift of salvation, so your statement would not be accurate.

    God is anti-evil.

  44. Pat

Kevin said, “He is a perfect being.”

How do you know God is a male. And is being a “being” mean he’s part of a physical existence?

And, rejecting Jews does seem to be an act of a anti-Semite.

  45. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

He expels the unrepentant sinful that reject the grace of Jesus from his presence.

Those that revel in our depraved sinful nature, he will not force you into heaven. You delight in your sin, God will grant you be cast out. Since all good things come from him, hell is the only place that exists where God withholds his attributes.

It is a good vs those that embrace evil by rejecting Christ issue.

The use of Pronouns for God is a clear reference as the Trinity, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. It is more a reference to Headship, as Leader, Prophet, Priest, King, then it is to gender. Our society is gender obsessed in the sick perversion of the liberal lexicon.

  46. Pat

    Kevin,

I believe people of the Jewish faith would respectfully disagree with you. So who’s right?

  47. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

If a member of the Jewish faith wants to have a debate with me about “the Jesus” (as Ben Shapiro would say), that is perfectly fine with me.

I will not treat them with the vitriolic, awful hate, the radical liberal, godless lexicon treats Jews.    When David Duke is agreeing with AOC, Omar, and Talib, you really need to take stock on which side you are on.

So are you agreeing with David Duke and Nord here?

  48. Pat

    Kevin,

Why are you against individuals of the Jewish faith attaining their right to Heaven, according to their religious beliefs? Sounds hateful to me, and probably them.

  49. Kevin Scheunemann

    PAt,

Their beliefs believe in the promise of a Messiah.

The only issue is: Recognizing Jesus as the Messiah.

Not hateful, just encouraging Old tesstament believers to the New Testament.

Evangelism is not “hateful”….unless you are Nord.

  50. Pat

“Not hateful, just encouraging Old tesstament believers to the New Testament.”

That’s the rationality anti-semites have used for a millennium.

  51. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

There is a difference between encouraging Jews to Jesus and:

1.) calling for destruction of Israel or Jews in general

2.) making hateful comments about Jews as a whole

3.) determining that Jews are a substandard race

The fact you equate encouragement to Jesus and the radical liberal hate calling for destruction of the Jews is same thing is absolutely ridiculous and insultig to any moral standard!

  52. jjf

If you want things to go your way, just say God wants it that way.

If things aren’t going your way, God’s intent is a profound mystery.

    What’s a “race,” Kevin?

  53. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

Ephesians 5:32, apostle Paul writes that we do not know the divine mystery on how or when the Holy spirit brings believers to faith in the church.

As my favorite godless bible theologian, you should have known this.

  54. jjf

Golly, your book says it must be true, so it is!

What’s a “race,” Kevin?  What does the Bible say about race?

  55. Pat

Kevin said, “Evangelism is not “hateful”

Saying they’ll go to hell if they don’t believe what you do is filled with love and compassion.

  56. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

It is called speaking “truth in love”.

If your GPS is telling your to drive off a cliff, wouldn’t it be speaking “truth in love” to let you know your path is worng?   Even though you thought you were smart and developed the GPS software yourself?

Granted, you don’t like the message, but it is designed to keep you from blindly walking over the cliff in eternity.

It is still your choice.  You can walk blindly into the gates of hel if you want, despite my warning.   In the end, I cannot stop you if that is your intent.

I will contnue to encourage and warn you, in hope.

  57. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

Just so we are straight here, you have never, ever heard me say anything bad or derogatory about Jews or Semites.  You made that all up as usual, and fits into the “More Lies for Jesus” category of sin.  Repent while you still can.

For the record, my best friend in grade and high school is Jewish.  A roommate in college and after is Jewish.  For you to assume that I am an anti-Semite is a bald faced lie.

What purpose does all your dishonesty serve?  You preach and preach about ethics and morals, yet never see any need to follow them in your own life.

    Grow up.

  58. Pat

    Kevin,

Why preach to me about me going to hell. According you you it’s the Jewish faith that is going down that road.

  59. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

Have you denounced the anti-Semitic hate of Omar?

I asked and you punted, which means you are sympathetic to the awful behavior.

Denounce Omar’s awful behavior and I will believe your previous platitude.

  60. jjf

What’s a “race,” Kevin?  What does the Bible say about race?

  61. Paul

Apparently, John Foust’s search engines are broken.

  62. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

    In OT or NT?

    There is a difference.

NT obliterates distinction between Jew and Gentile if that is where you were going.

Tough to tell because you do misconstrue the Bible in your unbelief.

  63. Pat

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

  64. jjf

Kevin, what does “race” mean to you?  You used that word.

  65. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

I’ll do you one better; I’ll denounce all hate, especially your intolerant, self-serving and narcissistic variety. But I still won’t root for the Bears.

And I don’t give a rats behind what you think about my “platitude”, or my platypus.

Now be a big boy and answer the question posed by jjf.

  66. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

    Everyone denounced hate generally.

Takes courage to do it specifically.

    Courage you fail to show.

    Pat

Great job on finding the passage. We are all one in Christ when it comes to posesssing saving faith.

  67. Le Roi du Nord

OK, I will specifically denounce your intolerant, self-serving and narcissistic variety.  I don’t hate anything or any one.  But I do find self-righteous frauds like you to be beneath contempt.

  68. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

    Great, a little non-specific again…

But will you denounce Omar, Talib for their open hate?

  69. jjf

Sure, Kev.  Tell me what race means to you.  Tell me what you think race meant to the people in the NT.

  70. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

    I don’t see race.

Only liberal intersectional hate using race to sort its victims.

    I denounce liberal intersectional hate.

  71. Le Roi du Nord

No k, plenty specific.  You are just in denial again.

jjf:  k won’t give you a straight answer, yet feels compelled to ridicule those of who do.

  72. jjf

OK, so Kevin doesn’t see race.  And he’s an expert at finding racists.  He’s never used the phrase “the Jewish race.”

Tell me what race means to Kevin.  Tell me what you think race meant to the people in the NT.

  73. Kevin Scheunemann

I see both of you still refuse to denounce the hate of Omar.

    Awful. just awful.

  74. Le Roi du Nord

    jjf:

It sure appears that the problem here is that k doesn’t have a good grasp of the English language.  And his personal definitions for common words are fluid and subject to change to suit his immediate needs.

    k:

I answered your question 3 times in this thread. I’ll bet you are too lazy to look.

  75. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

You are acting like the crap covering Democrats in Congress with their watered down resolution that does not condemn Omar specifically for her hate.

She hugged AOC and Talib on the floor and laughed and tucked it up as she voted yes on the watered down resolution. I call it enabling and emboldening evil.

That is the awful part. You take same enabling position with lack of specific condemnation.

  76. Kevin Scheunemann

    “yucked it up”

  77. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

What part about the words “specific”, and “specially” don’t you understand?  I used them, it isn’t my fault (perhaps you could blame your private school education) you have trouble with reading and comprehension.  Perhaps an ESL class would help.

  78. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

You refused to use Omar by name!

This is moral cowardice on your part.

  79. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

You don’t get to make the rules, little guy.  You haven’t earned the right to tell anyone how to act, think, or behave.  You really need to get a pair of big boy pants, and actually wear them.

  80. jjf

Maybe Kevin is realizing that his Colbertian “I don’t see race” and his personal definition of “race” are not in alignment.

  81. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

I knew you were  too cowardly to denounce Omar’s hate by name.

    Very, very disappointing.

Nearly all of civil society can do it.

    Why can’t you?

  82. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

I did denounce evil, specifically (see above).  But you don’t get to make the rules, or define the terms.  Now go try to bully somebody else.
