NOW Calls Obama ‘Sexist’

NOW has no credibility left after they stood silent as President Clinton abused and demeaned women for years, but they appear to be trying to regain their former stature.

National Organization for Women (NOW) president Terry O’Neill on Wednesday called President Obama’s critique of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) sexist.

O’Neill told The Hill she took issue with Obama calling Warren by her first name during an interview with Yahoo News published Saturday.

“Yes, I think it is sexist,” O’Neill said. “I think the president was trying to build up his own trustworthiness on this issue by convincing us that Senator Warren’s concerns are not to be taken seriously. But he did it in a sexist way.”

I don’t know that NOW is right on this one. Obama’s reference to Warren by her first name was certainly condescending, but I don’t think it was necessarily sexist. He does the same thing with dudes with whom he disagrees.

    Owen,

    I think they are consistent.

If the leaders of NOW find the man attractive, like Bill Clinton—they will practically excuse any sexist behavior, even rape.

If the leaders of NOW find the man unattractive, like Obama, then mere innocent utterence, with even the faintest wiff of sexism, will get you singled out by NOW for anti-male treatment. Political correctness on steroids, so to speak.

You gotta love radical liberals and their sorting of priorities.

They’re just signaling that Seeeeexism is the new Raaaaacism a bit early (unless, of course, one is attempting to apply that to Fiorina or Haley or any conservative woman, in which case the “conservatives and Republicans are subhuman scum incapable of being offended and thus unworthy of basic human dignity” principle applies).

    Tempest in a teapot.

Obama called his opponent “Hillary ” in the 2008 debates and in 2 general elections he won 300+ electoral votes and women supported his positions overwhelmingly

I know it drives conservatives crazy but Women arent buying what you’re selling .
