The Berlin Wall was built in 1961 to stop people fleeing from communist East Germany to the West.
Its fall in 1989 became a powerful symbol of the end of the Cold War.

The Soviet Union and Eastern bloc represented their nirvana in action. When the wall to keep (force) people to stay in that hell did fall and quickly showed how people want stream to freedom and free markets….liberals must be still mourning this event today.
