Harvey Weinstein’s History of Abuse

I know… it’s shocking that a big time liberal icon and Hollywood mogul is a serial abuser of women, isn’t it?

An investigation by The New York Times found previously undisclosed allegations against Mr. Weinstein stretching over nearly three decades, documented through interviews with current and former employees and film industry workers, as well as legal records, emails and internal documents from the businesses he has run, Miramax and the Weinstein Company.

During that time, after being confronted with allegations including sexual harassment and unwanted physical contact, Mr. Weinstein has reached at least eight settlements with women, according to two company officials speaking on the condition of anonymity. Among the recipients, The Times found, were a young assistant in New York in 1990, an actress in 1997, an assistant in London in 1998, an Italian model in 2015 and Ms. O’Connor shortly after, according to records and those familiar with the agreements.

“when you’re a star, they let you do it,”

    D. J. Trump

Clearly, Trump is not a “star” if feminists got all bent out of shape for some minor locker room talk, no woman had heard at the time, over a decade later.

It is hilarious what left did to Trump over something no woman had heard vs. the pass they give this perv.

  3. Pat

There have been countless women who have said they’ve been harassed by Trump. I would tend to believe there is some truth to it.

  4. Kevin Scheunemann

    Pat,

Given we have excused rape accusations of past presidents, harrassment allegations seems like a speeding ticket at this point.

Feminists only have themsleves to blame.

  5. Pat

So are you saying you excuse Trump, and blame the women? If so you have no problem with Weinstein’s behavior.

I personally find that behavior to be deplorable no matter what political affiliation. And people who make excuses for them deplorable.

And people who make excuses for them deplorable. – so I guess this would paint the main stream media as deplorable.  If Trump supporters are deplorable, the media has a funny way of showing it.
“This was a hit job. In 42 years, I’ve been in this business, I’ve worked for 12 companies. Not any time have I had any interaction with HR, any complaints filed against me.” – Bill O’Reilly
Now instead of doing their job [the media] and fact-checking the accusations by this individual, by the way, easily proven to be false, liberal fascist journalists, lazy as they are, they saw an opportunity. ‘Oh, let’s get Hannity next, let’s silence his voice.’
“My lawyers are saying that these media outlets have a basic, fundamental obligation to do rudimentary fact-checking, instead of just taking the word of one individual. Even a simple Google search which would have shown that this has gone on with this woman, false charges for years, that were proven false. – Sean Hannity
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Bill Clinton
Our beloved ex-President was counseled by the Rev. Jesse Jackson, the civil rights leader and Baptist minister who had a child with his mistress. The former President was a frequent flyer on a registered sex offender’s infamous jet, the “Lolita Express” to “Orgy Island.” Clinton is paid over $200K per speech and has made over $100M in fees since leaving office.

One can never condone these actions IF THEY ARE TRUE but it would appear some get a pass while others get the shaft.

    Pat,

I am saying Feminists, Bill Clinton, and liberal media have made sexual harrssment a joke not to be taken seriously anymore.

If it is to be taken seriously, because  simply that the allegation is toward a non-liberal, who fails to adhere to the religious doctrines of liberalism…well, that is even more laughable.

  8. Le Roi du Nord

What is the real tragedy today is that we have an admitted sexual predator and known adulterer in the WH and there are still plenty of folks out there than defend him.  And surprisingly those folks identify as conservative.

  9. Paul

Like that time he stuck a cigar in an intern. Oh wait. That was BJ Clinton.

  10. billphoto

Personally, I’ll take the current resident of the White House over the rapist but, on topic, when I see Kathy Griffin holding a bloodied, severed head of Mr. Weinstein, I will believe the treatment to be equal on both sides of the political spectrum.

  11. Pat

I love how Clinton’s bad behavior keeps getting brought up. While digging up old sex scandals let’s not forget actress Selene Walters accusation that Ronald Reagan raped her in 1952. What about the rumors about the Bushs. And LBJ, Kennedy, FDR, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Warren Harding, and on and on.

Oh the outrage. Heavens to Betsy, someone get me the smelling salts.

  12. Paul

Yeah, but nobody on that bullshit list had to resign their law license over it. BJ Clinton on the other hand…

  13. Paul

Or paid $850,000 to Paula Jones

  14. Paul

Or was fined $90,000 for contempt of court in a federal trial.

  15. billphoto

So we will soon see Kathy Griffin holding a bloodied, severed head of Mr. Weinstein?

  16. Pat

“So we will soon see Kathy Griffin holding a bloodied, severed head of Mr. Weinstein?”

I don’t know, but I hope so. Why don’t you ask her.

  17. Pat

“Yeah, but nobody on that bullshit list had to resign their law license over it. BJ Clinton on the other hand…”

I’m glad that that, and everything else you mentioned, happened to Clinton. He deserved all of that, and then some.

  18. Pat

Thanks to the Ken Starr being appointed as independent counsel and throughly investigating Clinton we were able to see Congress vote to impeach him.

Hopefully the same thing will result with Mueller. Ken Starr has predicted there will be indictments in the Russian probe. If it goes all the way to Trump himself that means treason.

  19. Paul

Ken Starr, Mr. Magoo to the Baylor rape team.

Probably not the best source to lean on.
