Fauci to Retire

It is a travesty that this man is allowed to retire with a full pension and without sanction. Even if you buy that he acted in good faith (I don’t), his disastrous policies and intentional lying to the public resulted in destroyed lives and a gutted economy. There should be a sanction for government employees who are terrible at their jobs, but Fauci is another example of that not being the case. This man is a monster who should have been fired and prosecuted years ago.

Anthony Fauci will step down as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden.

Dr Fauci, who served as director of the NIAID for 38 years, said he would leave both positions in December to “pursue the next chapter” of his career.

“It has been the honour of a lifetime to have led the NIAID,” Dr Fauci, 81, said in a statement.

He became the face of the nation’s Covid-19 response during the pandemic.

What do you beleive his actual intentions were/are?

He had two motivations: to experiment on human subjects with poorly- or un-proven “remedies” which he didn’t understand, and to enrich fanbois, many of whom were actually humanitarians, some of whom were greedy, rapacious, totally amoral people.

Summarily: for the power and to be admired.

You forgot one Daddio. #3: to enrich himself.

Umnnhhhh….he did well, but not “rich.” If he had quit 20 years ago to join the Pfizer board–and a couple of others in the field of medicine–he could have been knocking down $2-$5Million/year plus very sweet options.

I think it was more a Frankenstein/Mengele motive. But we can mildly disagree over that. The question: can we claw back his pension because of perjury?

Personally I would say his intentions were to hide his connections with the Chinese labs that leaked the virus in the first place. His denial of all knowledge, much less sanction and monetary support of the projects being worked on in China were his most egregious lies with no reasonable excuse for the lies except saving face.

Keeping his willingness to lie for personal reasons in mind, it is hard for me to accept that he also lied for ‘good and well intentioned’ reasons. People who defend his lies have already conveniently forgotten to include the really damning ones.

Fauci’s already got this dicked. He won’t suffer anything more than a couple of theatrical browbeatings from the congress critters. Accusations will be made and denied. Media will yawn and move on.

he did well, but not “rich.”

I dunno. 12-17 mill sounds pretty ritzy to me. And let’s not forget the undisclosed “royalties”, $1mill libby Dan David Prize for “speaking truth to power”, a nice fat $350,000/yr g’vment pension (add another $250k+ when his wife quits).

And he’s not retiring. Just quitting his current job….

While I am moving on from my current positions, I am not retiring,” Fauci stressed, saying that “after more than 50 years of government service, I plan to pursue the next phase of my career while I still have so much energy and passion for my field.”

“I want to use what I have learned as NIAID Director to continue to advance science and public health and to inspire and mentor the next generation of scientific leaders as they help prepare the world to face future infectious disease threats,” Fauci said.

IOW, ride the the Golden Pony while the name fame lasts.

    >Media will yawn and move on.

You mean, Media will yawn and continue on Trump.

    >You mean, Media will yawn and continue on Trump.

That’s as certain as a sunrise.

That’s because you’re a Deplorable. The BidenFlation-adjusted net worth for “rich” is now $500 million and up.

Of course, we don’t know what’s in any offshore accounts he may have.
