Have you noticed why that is? I know in my county it’s because they took charge of getting a registration site set up, and administering into groups as they saw fit and not based on recommendations from Trash Tony’s Committees and Subcommittees.
Meanwhile the City of Milwaukee is wasting vaccines.
I meant to edit my spiel… to “I know in my strongly Republican county”…. They are leading while other counties with opposite party leaders are failing.
I wonder how much of this improvement is due to the opening of distribution channels directly to retail outlets like Walgreens and CVS.
I know of several seniors who went that route rather than languish on their regular healthcare provider’s needs list where they were of no particular priority other than meeting the age qualification.
Apparently the retail environment is first come first served as long as you meet the eligibility requirement. And possess the skills to make the online-only appointments.
