Biden Emerges From Basement

I kind of like seeing our politicians in muzzles.

Democratic US presidential candidate and former vice-president Joe Biden and his wife Jill visit the War Memorial Plaza during Memorial Day, amid the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), 25 May 2020

US Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has made his first public appearance after more than two months in quarantine amid the Covid-19 crisis.

Wearing a black face mask, the former vice-president laid a wreath at a ceremony in his home state of Delaware.

Its best when liberals are locked away in basement.

They can’t get in way of productive, freedom loving America that way….

  2. Le Roi du Nord

“Its best when liberals are locked away in basement.”

Is that mentioned in either the WI or US Constitution?

  3. jjf

Le Roi, you know he’s striving to be Jesus and loves his neighbor…  he just wants to lock them in the basement.

  4. Le Roi du Nord

    jjf:

Sure is, and very selective with his “rights” and “freedoms”.

  5. Kevin Scheunemann

You libs, taking me out of context.

It was a comment on Biden locking himself away in the basement, like the coward he is.

I didn’t imply anything other than self chosen isolation.  (In Biden’s case, translating constant gaffe speak to English causes further isolation.)

You 2 are dishonest to the core.

  6. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

You are waffling again.  You didn’t mention Biden when you said: “Its best when liberals are locked away in basement.”

And don’t be lecturing anyone on “gaffe speak”.  You are the master.

  7. Tuerqas

Is no one going to chide Biden for ‘blackface’?  I thought that was a big political no-no…

  8. jjf

You think that’s what Biden was doing?

When we dress in black, does it aim to show respect for the dead?

  9. Tuerqas

Of course it was to show respect, geez, can’t a guy make a bad joke anymore?  And technically no, there is no convention to wear a black mask to a funeral.  Of course he would have been screwed by Republicans actually making a comment no matter what…

White mask?  White privilege!  Red mask, some sort of ‘blood to a funeral?’ comment, and a Hello Kitty mask?  Don’t even get ’em started!

If they can keep a minder on his hip they can let him out for short periods without taking much damage. Short appearances, short speeches, and definitely no questions. A remote kill switch for whatever microphone he’s using wouldn’t be a bad idea either. Hillary got quite a bit of mileage out of similar tactics as her health failed back in ’16.

Tuerqas, you have to realize that jjf and Dumbass Le Roi do not have a sense humor.
Unless, of course, it is a NPR comedian, then they roll on the ground, laughing out until they pee and poo in their bloomers.

  12. Mar

Actually, Merlin, a dog shock collar might help Biden as well.

  13. jjf

You’re right, Tuerqas, jokes are supposed to be funny.  Punch up, not down.

  14. Le Roi du Nord

Always the classy guy, eh mar?

  15. Mar

Well, no, Dumbass Le Roi, never said I was a classy guy.
Just call them like I see them.

  16. Le Roi du Nord

    Well, then you need glasses.

  17. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

It was an article about Biden, and Biden is a liberal.

Not my fault you are dishonest about what I wrote.

  18. Pat

“never said I was a classy guy.”

  19. Le Roi du Nord

Here is what you said: “Its best when liberals are locked away in basement”.

Note the use of the plural – liberals. So who else besides Biden should be locked away?  And why?  For how long? Or is this another case of freedom applying only to you and those that agree with you?

  20. Mar

That’s right, Lying Pat. I wear shorts almost everywhere. I drink Ice Beer. I shop at Walmart and sometimes a pawn shop. I hate sushi. I have a velvet dogs playing cards blanket. I don’t like opera. I like Irish drinking songs. I worked with the disabled for 40 years and changed 100,000’s of dirty diapers. I don’t go to dinner parties. My dogs are mutts and my cats are feral cats.

  21. Pat

    So what?

  22. Mar

    “So what?”
Gee, when you repeated I said, you might have wanted an explanation.
Now, time to go back to your cell at Mendota. I hear the lithium is tasting pretty good tonight.

  23. Tuerqas

You’re right, Tuerqas, jokes are supposed to be funny.  Punch up, not down.

In the political arena?  Good luck with that.  Hey, half the people probably laughed, just like you probably laugh when I make fun of Trump.  And I did qualify it as a bad joke…

  24. MHMaley

When you opponent is losing in states he must win , sitting in your basement watching that opponent
self immolate daily appears to be a prudent decision. .

  25. Kevin Scheunemann

I love how liberals make hyper moral judgments on simple, innocuous language, but give them several chances to make a moral discernment against obvious evil….it is like catching a greased pig.

  26. Le Roi du Nord

    k:

“Innocuous”  ?  You want to lock people up for disagreeing with you.  How intolerant, and no doubt unconstitutional.
