Excellent. I did think that the presence of Bernie as a viable candidate was putting downward pressure on the market for months. I guess this proves the case.
Stocks surged on Wednesday after Sen. Bernie Sanders dropped out of the presidential race, relieving some of Wall Street’s political concerns.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 474 points, or 2.1%. The S&P 500 climbed 2% while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.7%.
The major averages hit their session highs after Sanders made his announcement. Some of Sanders’ policy proposals, including Medicare for All, raised concern among several business owners and investors who feared taxes would go up under his presidency.
It’s very unfortunate for Trump. Sanders would have been his preferred candidate to run against.
Check on your Democrat friends. Their choice of representation yesterday was between a rich, old, faux-communist career politician and a rich, old, nearly witless career politician… and the faux-communist just took his ball and went home.
And now we are more likely to get 4 more years of a witless, narcissistic, orange, sexual assaulting, loudmouth, idiot. Very sad.

I suppose tomorrow when the market goes down, it will be due to the realization that Biden could get elected?

Agreed. However, with Sanders as nominee, there was always a chance for him to win. the damage he would have done to the country with his communist agenda would have been irreversable.
Biden is just an old guy that does not know when or where he is. It would be foolish to vote for an Alzheimers patient.

I know that’s the talking point that Trumpanzees are pushing. But Trump is only 4 years younger and is showing early signs of dementia. He also has the burden of being a lying, narcissistic, multiple sex offender who has shown through this current crisis that he’s way over his head.
