OK, You’re Racist

And the ADL beclowns themselves again.

Los Angeles (CNN)The “OK” hand gesture is now a hate symbol, according to a new report by the Anti-Defamation League.

The ADL added that symbol along with several others on Thursday to its long-standing database of slogans and symbols used by extremists.
The two-finger OK sign is universally known for meaning everything is all right or approval of something. But the ADL says while not everyone means it to be hateful, the sign has been co-opted by the alt-right.
The OK hand gesture and its link to white nationalism began as a hoax cooked up by users of the website 4chan, who falsely linked it to white supremacy, according to the ADL.

Crazy intersectional liberals looking for racism where none exists.

It must be tough for race baiting liberals these days that hoaxes and made crap is the only way they can find racism these days.

  2. jjf

Kevin, there goes your word salad generator again.  Intersectional between what?

And “looking for racism where none exists”… among white supremacists?

  3. Mar

Spoken like a true racist, right jjf? If you are a liberal, you are a racist and that is a fact, not opinion.

  4. jjf

I think everyone should strive to be actively anti-racist.  Just saying “I’m not a racist” isn’t good enough.

There are people of all stripes who hold racist ideas and support racist policies.  I believe they can change.

If you want to claim someone has racist beliefs or supports racist policies, you should be able to identify them – not just say “that’s a fact.”

  5. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

Everyone should strive to be anti-racist as possible?

You mean like when liberals advocate admissions policies based on skin color?

Like when NY liberals complained too many Asians are getting into magnet schools?

Like when a Democrat presidential candidate, white as snow, claims to be a “Cherokee” to improve her intersectional victim status.

Like when liberals failed to apologize for Jussie Smollett paying 2 thugs of the same race to kick his own ass, but blame it on MAGa that supporters.

Methinks your lecture needs to be directed where the racism problem really is: the Democrat Party. The only Party to ever have slaveholders in their ranks. The party of black codes, Jim Crow, and Al Sharpton.

  6. Le Roi du Nord

“the Democrat Party. The only Party to ever have slaveholders in their ranks”

    Really ?

  7. jjf

Yes, Kevin, as I said, people of all political stripes and skin colors can be racist.  Somehow you pulled a number of Democrat examples from your hat.  Not that I’m agreeing or disagreeing with any of those, as that would be an essay for each.  Can you identify any examples of racist ideas or racist policies connected to Republicans?

  8. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

This thread is about liberal screaming everyone and everything is racist.

Republicans do not engage in that sick behavior…accusing everyone of racism.

That is difference. Liberals are the active racists.

  9. jjf

Accusing someone of having racist ideas or racist policies… is racist?

Yes, there is a lot of racism in the world.  Read your history.  Or look at the region you live in.  Why is there such dramatic segregation in the Milwaukee area?

  10. Kevin Scheunemann

    jjf,

Screaming racism while advocating liberal racist policies is the height of hypocrisy.

Nord fully understands how to utilize hypocrisy.

  11. jjf

As I said, Kevin, I think we should all be anti-racist.  It would be great if you grew more adept at identifying racist beliefs and racist policies.

Again I ask why do you think there such dramatic segregation in the Milwaukee area?

  12. Kevin Scheunemann

    jjf,

Racism is individual acts, not group gneralization by race baiters.

You have a specific instance, anme it, and we can agree the incident is awful.

If you call me racist for just gong about my business in Kewaskum, WI, without pointing to any specific action/evidence, that just makes you an awful, disgusting, human being.   Many liberals are disgusting human beings on this point.

  13. jonnyv

Kevin, this is not about everyone screaming about being racist. This is about a 4chan joke that escalated and became an actual problem. And if you want to continue to use the use the hand sign, you can deal with the repercussions of what others think about you. This hand signal was co-opted by a crappy group of people, and there isn’t much we can do about it. They have skewed the meaning.

Guess what, at one point a swastika wasn’t a symbol of hate, nor was the confederate flag. But things change and evolve. Symbols and language both change and evolve. Things we said in the 80’s and 90’s are no longer appropriate. Yes, it sucks for people who don’t want to adapt and change. But this is the world we live in.

Example: The 2 finger peace sign used to mean V for victory. It was co-opted by the hippy movement and now has a completely different meaning.

  14. Kevin Scheunemann

    Johnv,

The joke is racist.   We can agree on that.

The joke in conjunction with hand signal with OK sign signaling agreement with racism is racist.  We can agree on that.

OK sign by itself related to nothing or non-racist things IS NOT RACIST!

To imply it is racist on its own is ridiculous.

  15. jjf

Kevin, you’re hallucinating.  What did you do that someone said was racist?

  16. Kevin Scheunemann

    jjf,

I am not racist, so no one has ever pointed to anything I have specifically done.

Actions define racism, not crybaby fantasy of liberals looking to achieve more political power by inventing crisis where there is none.

  17. dad29

the Democrat Party. The only Party to ever

…fight a WAR to retain slavery.  And, having lost that war, create an  armed, violent, militia to enforce its racism (and hatred of Catholics and Jews) with terrorist activity.  This happened to include laws forbidding possession of guns for black folks.

And when all that didn’t work, that Party fought tooth and nail against every single Civil Rights proposal ever brought into Congress.

Other than that, there’s not a racist bone in their bodies, LeeeeeeeeeRoy.

  18. jjf

And then what did the Republicans do after, oh, 1960, Dad29?  You were there and were paying attention.  Did you spot any racist policies and racist beliefs after that?

  19. dad29

You mean raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaciss like, say, the Jussie Smollet case?  Or like the other dozen or so made-up cases by college kids trying to yell “squirrel!!!” while they were failing their classes?

  20. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

You are trying to tell me the Party of Lincoln, the Party that freed the slaves, the Party that opposed black codes, Jim Crow, elected the first 17 black Congressman, votes for civil rights acts, against urban inner City plantations destroyed by liberal rule, and opposed the slaveowning Democrats every step of the way is racist?

You liberals should look in the mirror, you hypocrites.

  21. jjf

The US has a long, long history of racist ideas and racist policies.  Yes, if you want to be an anti-racist, you’re going to need to be able to identify those racist ideas no matter where they came from.

Again, for an example near and dear to home and your personal experience, why do you think there such dramatic segregation in the Milwaukee area?

  22. Kevin Scheunemann

    Jjf,

It is not a racist issue. It is a culture problem.

I have had and do have several African American employees. Many of families move here to get away from crime problem. I invite any new families to church where I can. Some employees are great, some not so much. The story on bad employees is same…they have crappy friends, make poor choices, and get in trouble regardless of race. When an African American employee falls into a “bad employee” category. It is same story. Their friends in Kewaskum are to “goody two shoes”. They long for their friends in Milwaukee where there is easy access to drugs and other questionable activity. I had a mom where I sat down to inform her of the road her daughter was headed on and she was desperate to keep her daughter away from the awful urban culture. I told her she had to be a parent, take car keys away, ground her, etc. Short time later they moved to FL because mom had a boyfriend, so don’t know what happened.

It is not a race issue, it is a liberal culture issue. The battle between civil behavior and incivility behavior.

So knock your incivility off that everything is racism. It disgusts me.
