I pray for his family and child. I’m sure this was a hard decision, but he has his priorities right.
Citing health complications with his baby, due in October, Wisconsin Representative Sean Duffy announced via his Facebook account that he would be resigning from Congress.
“Recently, we’ve learned that our baby, due in late October, will need even more love, time, and attention due to complications, including a heart condition,” Duffy said via Facebook. “With much prayer, I have decided that this is the right time for me to take a break from public service in order to be the support my wife, baby and family need right now.”
Duffy indicated that Sept. 23 would be his last day in Congress where he represents the 7th District of Wisconsin as a member of the Republican Party.
No shame in stepping back from the political circus for priorities. He does have his priorities correct on many levels. That’s what made him a great representative.
