Today marks 500 years since Martin Luther pounded his 95 theses into a door and changed the trajectory of human history. It is impossible to understate his impact on Western Civilization and the world. He reminded us that Salvation is a gift from God and that one does not need the permission of hierarchical order of Men to gain the the Kingdom of Heaven. In doing so, he undermined the psyche of oppression and launched a fundamental reordering of society that freed minds and toppled empires.
