Priebus Out

The dysfunction in the White House is damaging to Trump’s agenda and to the country.

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump drove out his chief of staff on Friday, replacing Reince Priebus with Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly in an explosive move that ends a turbulent six-month tenure.

“The President wanted to go a different direction,” Priebus told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on “The Situation Room” Friday evening. “A president has a right to hit a reset button. I think it’s a good time to hit the reset button. I think he was right to hit the reset button.”
“I’m always going to be a Trump fan,” Priebus said. “I’m on Team Trump and I look forward to helping him achieve his goals and his agenda for the American people.”
In his interview with CNN, Priebus repeatedly said he submitted his resignation to the President privately on Thursday. Yet throughout the day on Friday, sources close to him insisted that he was not resigning.
But around 5 p.m. ET, Trump made the announcement on Twitter just after landing on Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews outside Washington.
Priebus is a good guy and was one of the few level-headed people in the administration. He was in a no-win position, though. I’m sure that once the cycle of interviews are done, he’ll enjoy a bit of peace and quiet before moving on to a new adventure.

Well, he got what he wished for since at least Jeb Bush flamed out.

I wonder if immunity is in his future?

    >I wonder if immunity is in his future?

Unlikely, he’s no friend of the Clintons or the DNC.

    Nord,

How can we take you seriously when you claim to be a conservative but then say Baldwin is a better Senator than Ron Johnson?

    Baldwin needs immunity before Priebus.

Le Troll du Nord a conservative?  That’s funny but you never know; maybe when leaving a tip?

    k:

Explain what Baldwin needs immunity from .  Use facts.  And remember, rojo knew about the VA problems before Baldwin.    Spin away.

FACT: Le Troll du Bore is a proven white nationalist troll, and a proven liar.

Covering up the VA drug sanadal.

    Nope, wrong again.

    k:

I don’t know about any sanadal, nor does Baldwin.  But rojo was first on the scene on the VA issue and did nothing.  You can look it up.

    “Sanadal”

    Dumbass white nationalist troll.

Off topic, After reading “nor does Baldwin” stating “rojo was first on the scene on the VA issue and did nothing. You can look it up”, I did. What I learned was the inspector general’s report was not published for the public to see or shared with the House or Senate committees that oversee the VA. I would add, personally with the reputation of the VA, that I think Sen. Johnson’s actions when he did learn of the problems at the Tomah VA were inadequate. On the other hand, after Sen. Baldwin fired Marquette Baylor and an ethics complaint was filed accusing Baldwin of covering-up the VA scandal, she blamed Republicans. Given the details of the complaint, this does seem disingenuous to blame Republicans.
On topic, while the leftist scream Russia, Russia, Russia, convicting anyone of heinous crimes against the United States without proof, I do not remember Mr. Priebus being mentioned, ever. Posting “I wonder if immunity is in his future?”, it would seem a troll tactic to make such an unfounded accusation.  To the contrary, as more information has surfaced, calls for a Special Counsel to investigate Clinton, Rice, Holder, Lynch and Comey, it would seem a more appropriate lament that these are persons in need of immunity.
Given the above, I would suggest a revised nom de plume: Le Troll du Nord Puant. Translation: The King of the North Stinks or, as Larry the Cable Guy would say, “Now that’s funny!”

    Har, har, har.
