White House Taking Lessons From Wisconsin

Walker said he spoke with Vice President Mike Pence during his Friday visit to the White House about his 2011 move to sharply limit collective bargaining for most public workers in Wisconsin, known as Act 10.

The governor said he and Pence talked about “what we’ve done here in Wisconsin, how they may take bits and pieces of what we did with Act 10 and with civil service reform, and how they could apply that at the national level” for federal workers.

“It’s something that they’re interested in. The vice president has brought up before,” Walker said. “It’s certainly something we’re willing to offer our assistance on, particularly if it helps improve not just the nation, but in turn helps improve the ability to be better stewards of the taxpayers’ dollars here in Wisconsin.”

Trump embracing WI model is outstanding.

Trump tweeting out that UC-Berkeley is not getting Fedral funding if they are going to suppress conservative campus speech!

I’m really coming around to Trump as a good leader.

  2. Le Roi du Nord

“ANTI-FREE SPEECH LIBERALS”.    That is a hoot.  Have you seen all of the donalds tweets about banning any media unless they fully support his agenda?  So many hypocrites, so little time…..

  3. Kevin Scheunemann

I’ll bite.   Quote the tweet that Trump did that.

I have heard Trump say, correctly, that CNN is “fake news”…and they are.   I wouldn’t want a news channel in the press core that consistenty puts out fake news without apology as well.  They can do that without being in press core.

Act10 was good start but there is still a ways to go.  After Act10 passed, the Washington County Board gave all County employees pay parity with private business but gave zero value to the Cadillac health insurance or pension.  Paying 100% of their pension WITHOUT taxpayers guaranteeing payment would be better.

  5. Le Roi du Nord

I don’t keep a file on what that egomaniac tweets, but I can read the paper, FB and listen to him on NPR.  If you are so isolated that you aren’t aware of his recent rants you are the new poster child for an uninformed citizen.

Oooooh Kevin, I think Mr. Nord is calling you out.

  7. Kevin Scheunemann

Just asking for your source….and the quote/tweet.

Not surprised you don’t have it.

  8. Le Roi du Nord

In a directive issued Tuesday afternoon, Editor-in-Chief Steve Adler wrote about the challenges of covering the Trump administration.

“It’s not every day that a U.S. president calls journalists ‘among the most dishonest human beings on earth’ or that his chief strategist dubs the media ‘the opposition party.'”

What is wrong with that free speech?

You said “banned”, who is Trump “banning” with that statement?

Trump verbally nailed them to the wall, which media attempts to do to conservatives all the time.

If this excellent Trump leadership is what ruffles you, “buckle up buttercup”….which I think you also told me a few comments back.

Still waiting for your source supporting you outlandish statement about censorship that does not exist.

    Liberals have the censorship problem.

  10. kjanz1899

Nord. The letters BW and NBC come to mind.

  11. Le Roi du Nord

“buckle up buttercup”   I don’t think I have ever said that phrase in my life.  Me thinks you are mistaken.

  12. Kevin Scheunemann

No source for your fake news?

    You said “banned”…. Still waiting.

  13. Le Roi du Nord

    From CNN website:

“President Donald Trump and his administration have a, at best, contentious relationship with the media and particularly with CNN. That relationship just took another hit after CNN refused to accept one of Trump’s top advisers as a guest – and for good reason.

The trouble began when Sean Spicer, Trump’s chief minister of propaganda / press secretary, stated the administration would boycott the network. Spicer elaborated, “We’re sending surrogates to places where we think it makes sense to promote our agenda.”

I posted another one earlier by it obviously didn’t work .

  14. Kevin Scheunemann

CNN is banning Trump people from its fake news network!

How is liberals behaving badly, Trump’s fault?

    You said “Trump tweet”.

    You still have failed.

I guess you enjoy making stuff up.
