New Rules

Notice how the media sets a different standard for Republicans?

(CNN)Republicans warned seven years ago that a health care law passed only by Democrats — with no support from the other party — would struggle to survive. The party-line vote to pass Obamacare, they said, was arrogant and reckless.

Now, the GOP is in charge, and poised to run afoul of its own warnings.
It was OK for the Democrats to ram through Obamacare by changing Senate rules and passing it without a single Republican vote in either house of the legislature, but the Republicans must have bipartisan support to repeal it.
Whatever.
Repeal it. Now.

These must be the “honest journalists” that Streep was talking about at the Globes.

The same actress that applauds child rapist Roman Polanski passionately, without regard to his poor victim, but cries over Trump being president….because she thinks he might be a bad president.

Hollywood actors need to check their mental disorders at the door.

While I don’t agree with the “repeal it now” statement without having SOME alternative, I can’t wait until they try. It will be some of the best political theater we will see over the next 200 days or so.

And if they DO manage to repeal it without any alternative, basically kicking 20 million people off of their insurance plans, it could be golden political commercial fodder for the next election cycle (assuming we as a planet make it that far).
