After 23 years, Charlie Sykes is signing off for the last time on his radio show today. He says he will continue to work in some other media.
Sykes’ influence on Wisconsin has been significant and positive. In my 16 years in Wisconsin, the state has moved in the direction of liberty and nurtured some significant national conservative leaders. Sykes can take credit for no small part of that movement and I hope he can reflect back with a warm sense of satisfaction at his contributions.
Enjoy your retirement, Charlie. We’ll miss you.

Sykes and his kind helped create the atmosphere that enabled trump to be elected president. Now he is, at least in public, repenting for his role in our impending dire situation. I’m sure there is a book deal in the offing, and/or a role as a talking head telling us for the next 4 years how we got a con man and reality show host elected to the presidency. He is far from retired.

Charlie shouted against Trump nearly every step of the way…so much so…PMSNBC had him on all the time to denounce Trump from the right. Hardly a sign on enablement.

Look back beyond the last 12 months. I know your historical perspective has always been clouded by your ideology, but Sykes has been beating the drum for years. He only changed his tune when he realized what a train wreck trump would be, now is..
Find me one endorsement of Trump by Charlie.
Should be easy for someone who claims he “enabled Trump”.

I know you always struggle with comprehension, and then try to fill the void with made-up claims. No where did I ever say Sykes endorsed trump, but Sykes and his ilk primed the pump for a con like trump to rise to the top. John Torinus had a pretty good analysis of Sykes, you should check it out.

Sorry kevin, but history isn’t your friend on your claim. Sykes was around long before Obama (see above), as were Belling, Bader, Limbaugh, etc. It is just hilarious that when you are given the opportunity to get out of a hole you ask for another shovel. And then blame liberals. You are like an open book printed in 72 size font.
