White Lives Matter

Heh.

In recent months, the phrases “Black Lives Matter” and “Blue Lives Matter” have become increasingly prevalent as rallying cries in response to police shootings of African-Americans and shootings of police officers, respectively.

While the Ocean City Boardwalk is no stranger to custom T-shirts flaunting off-color humor, one local business has taken the effort to use these phrases for its causes.

The White Marlin Marina is selling shirts in promotion of billfish conservation adorned with the marlin flag, and reading simply “White Lives Matter” in promotion of white marlin and “Blue Lives Matter” in promotion of blue marlin.

[…]

Lamplugh, who works at the marina, said marlin conservation is an important topic with the fishing community near the beaches.

“We’re promoting people to use circle hooks, to bring them in safely and to release them back,” Lamplugh said. “Marlin conservation has been going on for 100 years, and it’s an important issue.”

Needless to say, the BLM folks are offended and suggest violence as a remedy.

Smith said making light of or mocking topical charged social issues, or using them for a cause not related to the issue, has the potential to cause problems.

“It’s just all around a bad idea,” Smith said. “I wouldn’t be surprised if someone wearing these shirts got punched in the face.”

While the Black Lives Matter violence is new, the illegal South American immigrant violence is not.  In California, if you have an “I support the wall” bumper sticker, you will most likely find your car vandalized. If you are unlucky enough to be in the car, expect to be threatened or worse.

This is how “those people” (sorry, I don’t know how to describe the violent thugs in these groups) get away with pushing their agenda.  Wear a hat, t-shirt, etc. with a contrary opinion to their own and expect to be targeted.

Wisconsin is not Los Angeles but, when I was going door-to-door asking folks to put up yard signs support Gov. Walker, I will never forget one very nice lady.  She told me she supported Walker but she feared for her safety because she was an old woman living alone.

Liberals upset by “white lives matter”?

    Wow…didn’t see that coming. (Sarcasm).

Oh wait, a couple liberal commenters here didn’t.

What if white moms of shot criminals wanted to start an organization with this name? Certain liberal commenters said that would be just dandy.

    Clearly not.

    I find this hilarious.

Again with the false witness routine. Your narrative is old and boring. Since this blog only has you as a contributor i am not sure who you are evangelizing. Enjoy talking to yourself.

  4. Kevin Scheunemann

On August 6th you said moms who were not included in BLM advocacy could start their “own movement”.

Clearly white moms can’t start a “White lives matter” movement without it being brutalized as “racist”.

That means BLM is racist also.

Look at how crazy liberals are over phrase “White Lives Matter” being used for marlin conservation.

“Clearly white moms can’t start a “White lives matter” movement without it being brutalized as “racist”.

That means BLM is racist also.”

Please expand on the “clearly” part, as your definition may not be in common usage today.  Be specific, and give examples.

And show how you make the jump to accuse anyone of being racist.

    Thanks.

Not what I said and nowhere near in context.
    YAWN!
    Don’t know why I bother.
You have now, for the second time, lied and said i said something I did not.
    YOU ARE BEARING FALSE WITNESS
You will only hurt yourself in the long run with your willful ignorance.

  7. NHolland

Maybe you should read the whole article. You got your wish. BLM says “All Lives Matter. Now shut up!

  8. Kevin Scheunemann

BLM continues to use the exclusionary rhetoric focused on skin color.

When they stop using the racist lingo, I’ll start believing their comment “all lives matter”.

I missed the apology for the BLM’s Minnesota chant, “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon.”

That apology will help their alleged credibility on their alleged “all lives matter” position.

Also, how come BLM is not ostracized by liberals for just uttering”all lives matter” by liberals like the poor student in Texas that said it and was evicted from student government for caring about all people?

I’m fascinated by liberal double standards here.

  9. Le Roi du Nord

    Kevin:

You use exclusionary rhetoric all the time when the topic is religion.  Double standard on your part as well ?

  10. NHolland

Fascinating! Truly a case study. This level of self defeat is rarely seen Combined with narcissistic tendency. Dissociative amnesia combined with mental set is also rare. I could write a PHd thesis. Belief bias effect presenting along side delusions. Residual stress patterns presenting with N Ach. Way way off the normal curve. WOW! Must have taken years.

  11. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

    Example?

  12. Kevin Scheunemann

    N,

Yes, yes, you perceive me as satan incarnate for pointing out disgusting liberal racism…..Can we get back to issue of how we ostracize this racist organization, (like how any racism in the past has been ostracized in this country) so this group stops being overtly racist and truly practices the idea “all lives matter”, especially when it comes to blue lives?

Why does BLM start by apologizing for the “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon” hate toward law enforcement?

Why does BLM not follow up by demanding criminals be jailed? (Black on black homicide is a huge problem when it comes to unjust killings of African American community.). See David Clarke’s comments on subject.

  13. Le Roi du Nord

    Kevin:

Your words, Aug 4th, 9:33 PM:

“We should be evangelizing Muslims that are here and encourage them from their false religion.”

  14. Kevin Scheunemann

    Nord,

    That is “exclusionary”?

It is is “inclusive”, because I hope and pray the unbelieving Muslim turns from their false god and embraces Jesus for salvation.

“Exclusionary” would be radical Muslim position “convert or die”. Or the liberal position, “don’t you dare talk about Jesus in public square.” Those are “exclusionary” positions.

Christian wants Muslim to live, both on this earth and for eternity. hopefully, long enough here on earth to repent and trust in Jesus for forgiveness.

How much more inclusive can you get?

  15. Le Roi du Nord

I guess you have your own definition for every possible situation.

You are excluding others religions by your actions.  Hypocrite, yes.  Sociopath, probably.

  16. Kevin Scheunemann

Spreading the truth of the gospel is always hopeful and inclusionary.

Rejecting Christ is self exclusionary. No Christian wants you to exclude yourself from the hope of the Gospel.
