Party Defections

It will be interesting to see how these numbers shake out in November.

About 20 percent of likely Democratic voters say they would buck the party and vote for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in a general election, according to a new poll.

The willingness of some Democrats to change sides could be a major problem for Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton this fall.

The new figures were released by Mercury Analytics, a research company with clients that include MSNBC and Fox News, as the result of an online poll and dial-test of Trump’s first campaign ad.

A smaller number of Republicans say they’d vote for Clinton — about 14 percent.

I’m personally shocked too by the people I know who voted for Obama and are waiving the Trump flag!

It’s your fault! You voted for Obama, which gave rise to Trump!

What did you expect when you voted for Obama?

I know liberals were salivating at a Trump nomination, but now I’m not so sure.

All Trump has to do is take Sanders with him as VP and Hillary is done.

Blaming Obama for trump is beyond hilarious, bordering on the ridiculous. If you want to place blame, point toward all the hate mongers on AM right wing radio, including those right here in WI. Or blame all the trump supporters that don’t look beyond the bluster, name-calling and orange hair. Talk about un-informed voters….. .

As John Prine says, ” It don’t make no sense that common sense don’t make no sense no more”.
