The gunman in Thursday’s shooting at two military recruitment centers in Chattanooga was identified by the FBI as Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez.
The FBI said Abdulazeez, 24, killed four people and injured three others. He also died in the shooting, though authorities have not said whether he was killed by his own hand or by police.
Abdulazeez is from Hixson, a northern Chattanooga suburb, according to public records. Law enforcement swarmed across his neighborhood after the shooting, which began around 10.45am ET on Thursday.
These type of attacks are beginning to be our new normal. Just like the Israelis, we are a target of Muslim terrorists for simply being ourselves.
Is Muslim community cheering for carrying out the Jihad according to Koran…or are they denouncing and rejecting their holy book?
The Muslim “community” in Chattanooga has closed their mosque and cancelled scheduled celebrations. They issued a statement saying they stand with the community and that they are Chattanoogans first.

Do you hold every Republican, NRA member or Christian responsible for the terrorist attack committed by Timothy Mcveigh? He was a registered Republican, a member of the NRA and was baptized. Did all or even any Republicans, NRA members or Christians relinquish any of their beliefs or books because of Mcveighs actions. Again, you are holding a religion hostage based on the actions of some radicals/extremists. Please, don’t try to once again twist this into me somehow supporting terrorism or being pro Muslim.

NRA and Republicans denounce violent acts when they happen. Muslim community, not so much.
There are few people that believe the Koran is a holy book calling for violence and killing. You just happen to be one the disillusioned few that buys into such nonsense. It’s your Christian duty as dictated by WELS to renounce the Muslim faith no matter how unfounded the rhetoric. When will you stand up against the violence and killing contained in the bible. Yet another double standard. Endless hypocrisy.
I have to be honest guys. This blog used to have a lot of good comments from about 20 regular posters. You two have pretty much driven most of us out of the bar.

I find it refreshing when follow conservatives feel comfortable calling out Walker/other GOP leaders, and when lefties can call out Obama/other Democrat leaders…

Timothy McVeigh, Michael Fortier and Terry Nichols were held responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing. McVeigh has no history of serving in ‘stan but If you have knowledge that he was trained by Muslims you should do your civic duty and inform the authorities. For those sick of the constant bickering between Kevin and I, I would like to say, I have tried to post thought out and intelligent responses to Owen posts. However, on many, many occasions I was attacked by Kevin. I was called a liberal and a non Christian among other things. At times I responded with hostility and vulgarity. For that I have already apologized. This was not my intention when I came to this blog. I was referred to this blog by a friend who said there is good conversation by people with well thought out comments. My friend thought it would be a good fit. I am unwilling to let intentional ignorance try to make me look like a fool. I will not bow down to Kevin S. and his intolerant, irrational rantings. This guys history is pathological. He’s been posting the same garbage for ten years or more. With that said, I am willing to walk away from this blog and let those who have enjoyed it return to their commentary. My mistake was and I believe everyone else has already figured this out… Don’t respond or engage Kevin S. He will haunt you. Again, my apologies and enjoy.

There are roughly 30,000 gunshot deaths per year in the United States, about 60 percent of which are self-inflicted. The gunshot death rate has been remarkably stable since 1999.
What percentage of these deaths fall under the category of “Muslim Lunatic Kills People … Again”?
What percentage of these deaths fall under the category “Domestic Violence … Again”?
Where I live, a person is far more likely to be killed by a jealous husband or boyfriend with an Anglo Saxon name than by a jihadist named Mohammad.
Or, to put it another way, home is the most dangerous place some of us can be. That is the normal that existed for a very long time.
