Well, well, well. Recognize where we are.
EXCLUSIVE: Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge Hannah Dugan is under FBI investigation for allegedly helping an illegal immigrant defendant evade ICE agents who came to arrest him in her courtroom during a hearing Friday morning.
The defendant’s attorney was made aware of the arrest and told Dugan’s clerk, who then told Dugan. She allowed the defendant to hide in her jury room (which is normally off-limits to everyone except the judge and members of the jury).
The ICE agents presented their warrant to Chief Judge Carl Ashley, who sent them back to Dugan’s courtroom to arrest the defendant.
The FBI was notified about Dugan’s apparent obstruction of justice and is currently investigating.

Not sure if FBI tags along with ICE, but they should. And Dugan should have been taken into custody on the spot.
Time to change the headline, Owen: FBI arrests Milwaukee Judge
I wonder if jv can spin this damning document… Maybe he was busy protesting the arrest of a judge who allegedly broke the law?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/documents/d62bd73e-a370-40e4-8d37-3cb70f6fa035.pdf
Sure seems like a purely emotional, amateurish effort by Dugan. FBI seemed to have no trouble at all getting statements from witnesses… and there were plenty of them.
Can’t help but wonder if the use of that stealth agent was in anticipation of just such shenanigans. Almost like they’ve experienced this all before, eh?
Gonna disagree somewhat, Wiz. This was a straight egotistical move. An ego so deeply engraved that she could look at victims sitting in her court room and completely disregard them.
“I, the almighty county judge, greater than and above all federal laws.”
But the amateur thing….heh! … spot on.
Played in front of so many witnesses, including the victims’ lawyer, demonstrates how stupidity can easily eclipse ego.
One other little gem: one news story mentioned that Dugan ‘ran a tight ship, no-nonsense’ courtroom. That’s another way of saying she was a real bitch to work for.
Doesn’t take much to add 2+2 and speculate that one (or more) of her courtroom subordinates were happy to make statements which supported the indictment.
Winning: WSC suspends Dugan.
Even the lefty 4-3 SC can’t deny her pathetic actions.
Next up: disbarment.
Courtesy of the WSC, Dugan gets to sit on her ass indefinitely, collecting her taxpayer-funded paycheck, while she devotes as much time as necessary to plotting her defense of the indefensible with her very expensive legal team.
That is always step one for public workers. Suspension with pay, then legal mumbo jumbo, looking bad for Dugan, then no more press at all and if you ever look it up 7 months later you will find Dugan was let off with a fine maybe equal to a 1/4 of a paycheck and has been back at work for 6 months. They just had to order the press to die and wait a month.
Good News: Grand jury indicts Dugan.
Bad News: Loony Lynn Adelman to preside over the case.
I thought I heard Jay Weber say this morning that Dugan has been sitting in the Oz county jail since her arrest. Why? Surely, she has lefty BFFs with bail money. If she’s on some kind of martyr’s crusade I certainly haven’t seen it reported on the local propaganda outlets.
The perp, Flores-Ruiz, is the one sitting in the Oz county jail. His original public defender withdrew from his case, so he needs a new one by today.
Dugan has been walking free since an hour or two after her arrest. No bail. Next hearing is tomorrow.
Yeah, Dugan was suspended with pay. That doesn’t happen to people in jail. She was more likely to be put up in a nice Hotel with 24/7 room service on our dime than be put in a jail.
I love seeing the left’s collective heads spinning round and round on this.
A grand jury decided there was enough evidence to proceed with trial. Left response “Well a grand jury could convict a ham sandwich”.
Discuss how Dugan actively obstructed the officials OUTSIDE her courtroom… and they respond with “Well it was an administrative warrant and she had no obligation to assist”.
Now the left is saying that in official judicial capacity, a judge has carte blanche to run their court however they desire. No left, sorry, they still have to follow the law. They might be protected from civil actions, but case law is stacked up showing they are not protected from criminal prosecution.
It’s like watching a toddler try to shift blame and not admit they did something wrong.
…..and not admit they did something wrong.
Minor quibble here: the defense’s request for dismissal ADMITS the wrong actions, if only indirectly. They just claim that Dugan is Queen for a Day in her courtroom, which is owned by Milwaukee County (and State) taxpayers………..
Another minor quibble… If this judge and her high powered defense team really think that they can apply Presidential Immunity to a rank and file judge… Then it follows that it would also apply to Elon Musk and the Doge people that the left hate. And it also would apply to Joe Shamoe sitting at his desk in the IRS or DHS who doesnt do their work…or some soldier who sells some information online.
A major quibble….
From Dugan’s motion to dismiss:
10. The government’s prosecution here reaches directly into a state courthouse, disrupting active proceedings, and interferes with the official duties of an elected judge.“A State defines itself as a sovereign through ‘the structure of its government, and thecharacter of those who exercise government authority.’” McDonnell v. United States, 579U.S. 550, 576 (2016), quoting Gregory v. Ashcroft, 501 U.S. 452, 460 (1991). Judge Duganwas elected by the people of Milwaukee County to adjudicate their disputes andadminister the laws of Wisconsin. WIS. CONST. ART. VII, §§ 2, 7. The federal government violated Wisconsin’s sovereignty on April 18 when it disrupted Judge Dugan’s courtroom, and it is violating Wisconsin’s sovereignty now with this prosecution. The Court should end the violation of Wisconsin’s sovereignty and dismiss the indictment
Dugan and her lawyers are lying. The ICE agents never entered her courtroom. They were waiting in a public space for her to finish her Flores-Ruiz hearing (which she never started).
It was Dugan who disrupted her court by leaving her courtroom to yell at the agents.
Not only that, but Dugan is attempting to deceive the district court by misstating and omitting “pertinent” facts.
What is missing from this part of Dugan’s motion?
2. The complaint alleges a more cohesive story. In pertinent part, it alleges thefollowing. On Good Friday, April 18, 2025, Judge Dugan was presiding over hermisdemeanor docket in the Milwaukee County Courthouse. ECF 1, ¶15. Among themany defendants with hearings that day was Eduardo Flores-Ruiz. Id., ¶22. Federalagents arrived at the Milwaukee County Courthouse to execute an administrative arrestwarrant for Flores-Ruiz. Id., ¶8. A deputy in Judge Dugan’s courtroom claimed that JudgeDugan directed Flores-Ruiz to leave her courtroom through a jury door. Id., ¶29. Flores-Ruiz emerged from a doorway into the same public hallway a few feet from JudgeDugan’s courtroom doors. Id., ¶33. Federal law enforcement saw him, followed him tothe elevator, continued to follow Flores-Ruiz out of the courthouse, and then arrested himafter a foot chase. Id., ¶¶33–34.
Gosh. No mention of her stopping her own court proceedings and leaving her courtroom. In fact, nowhere in her motion to dismiss is it mentioned she actually shut down proceedings and left her own courtroom. Instead they try to side step by only noting The alleged conduct ranges from directing people’s movement in and around the courtroom…
Whole pathetic thing is here:

The LEFT now argues “State’s Rights”?????
Holy Reversal, Batman!
>The LEFT now argues “State’s Rights”?????
Just think how many LEFT heads would have exploded if Judge Dugan put up razor wire at the border of her courtroom.
