Rep. John Nygren on Wednesday called for tax and fee increases to be considered as a way to help plug a transportation budget shortfall that’s approaching $1 billion. Walker has refused to consider raising taxes or fees to pay for roads, unless there’s a corresponding cut somewhere else.
