Yeah, it’s a shame that her dad is a hateful terrorist who set Jews on fire while living in the US illegally. I suggest that she take her complaints to her dad.
She moved to the United States with a dream of studying medicine to transform lives. Then her father was charged with attempting to take them in connection with a fiery assault on pro-Jewish protesters in Boulder, Colorado.
Now Habiba Soliman, daughter of Boulder attack suspect Mohamed Sabry Soliman, faces deportation along with the rest of her family.
The family, originally from Egypt, moved to the U.S. from Kuwait. Habiba Soliman recently graduated from high school, but her aspirations were upended when her 45-year-old father was charged with a federal hate crime and 16 counts of attempted murder related to the attack that left a dozen people burned, including an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor. Two remain hospitalized.
[…]
She won the scholarship and was profiled in the Colorado newspaper where she shared her dream of a “future medical career” in the U.S.
[…]
The family is in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials, according to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and could not be reached for comment.”This terrorist will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Noem said on the X platform. “We are investigating to what extent his family knew about this heinous attack, if they had knowledge of it, or if they provided support to it.”
If she and / or the family knew about it – throw that person out. If the father did this without their knowledge, and their current status is legal, I don’t see the need to remove them.
The family first arrived in the US from Kuwait in August 2022, but were only allowed to stay until February 2023
Well, with those facts, heyyyyyya good bye…..
>Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, was born in Egypt and moved three years ago to Colorado Springs, where he lived with his wife and five children, according to state court documents. He lived for 17 years in Kuwait.
I really wish the liberal biased news would just call it what it is … Mohamed Sabry Soliman occupied a property in the United States illegally. He did not “move to the United States”
No, no, no! Remember that JV already informed us that LSM doesn’t ever lie as that would be illegal.
Hey T $50 to the charity of your choice if you show me where I EVER said that the media never lies.
And Jason, maybe ask an adult to read to you…
In 2022, he, his wife and their five children entered the US as non-immigrant visitors and filed for asylum a month later in September 2022. His wife, a network engineer with a pending EB-2 visa, which is available to professionals with advanced degrees, and children were listed as dependents on the application filed in Denver, the Department of Homeland Security and court documents said.
In 2023, Soliman received a two-year work authorization that expired in March, according to DHS.
He didn’t occupy a property illegally. As long as his money spent with whatever landlord he had, it wasn’t illegal.
My daughter was born with a traumatic brain injury, and I would take her reading comprehension over most of you guys.
>My daughter was born with a traumatic brain injury
You’ve proven who she inherited it from.
>In 2023, Soliman received a two-year work authorization that expired in March, according to DHS.
Expired in March, he’s here illegally. He occupied a property illegally.
Jason, you may not agree with the asylum program, but because they legally filed for it, they are NOT here illegally. You should probably learn the laws.
Maybe Congress should find more courts to process these claims faster.
Pending Asylum Status:
While awaiting a decision on their asylum application, asylum seekers have a specific legal status that allows them to remain in the country.
Not a Legal Resident:

Limited Rights:
Pending asylum status may grant certain rights and protections, such as the right to remain in the country while their case is processed and the right to file an application for employment authorization.
Possible Benefits:
Depending on the specific circumstances and the country, asylum seekers may also be eligible for certain benefits, such as healthcare and social services.
Not Guaranteed:
Asylum seekers are not guaranteed to be granted asylum, and their status is subject to change based on the outcome of their application.
>Hey T $50 to the charity of your choice if you show me where I EVER said that the media never lies.
Heh, sorry won’t do that as I was just joking. However, when you read 5 sites that always lean left and they have the same story with maybe a slightly different variation of ‘Trump is bad’ conclusions, you do tend think that it must be true. You think specific sites may have a bad take once in a while, but generally tell the truth and if they all say the same thing then it must surely be the truth. I think specific sites always have marching papers for a single primary agenda and truths are only told that support that agenda. Those agendas come from the top and the 4 or 5 owners of our entire mainstream news organizations set those agendas so obviously their different sites will say the same thing. I’d pay you $50 bucks if you could provide proof of a significant mainstream left leaning news agency that prints the truth about Trump’s successes as well as his lefty perceived failures. If they did, they would lose their lefty readers so it ain’t gonna happen. And like you truly have said many times, the news will print what sells and 2 things about lefties strongly support that opinion:
1) The left readers only want to hear that they are upstanding thoughtful good citizens whose leaders provide what is best for everyone whether they like it or not. Moral superiority is important to them. Their mindset (set by those same news agencies) is that there must be good and evil and since they are the good ones the right MUST be evil.
2) Lefty journalists won’t get paid for writing truths that go against the ‘left is good AND the right is bad’ overarching agenda.
>He didn’t occupy a property illegally. As long as his money spent with whatever landlord he had, it wasn’t illegal.
What!?! I guess that figures into the left agenda. So a drug dealer, swindler, contract killer, professional thief or immigrant’s (regardless of legality) monies aren’t illegal because it spends just like any other money so the people are not bad or illegal either? Is that why libs are so soft on crime?
>My daughter was born with a traumatic brain injury, and I would take her reading comprehension over most of you guys.
I am not sure who to feel worse for, your daughter or you. But continue to give her your love, that is a strength you do have,
T, you realize overstaying your Visa ISNT a crime… right? It is a civil offense. This family committed NO crimes (until the attack).
Crossing the border illegally is a crime. So he would have had to been legally deported, then recrossed into the US to make it a crime.
Seriously, learn the laws people. So all your examples don’t pass any sort of logical argument.
And it is possible none of that matters because of the LEGAL asylum claim that was made.
Oh, and Trump hasn’t accomplished anything yet. Nothing that the next president can’t change with the stroke of a pen. I think the Big Ugly Bill will pass, and that will be his first and possibly only accomplishment of his presidency due to midterms coming up. But it is early, we are only 5 months in. Lots of time to see.
For all of your complaints about reading comprehension, you rarely show signs of it. Where did I say that family committed a crime? Seriously, learn to comprehend what words mean before you attempt to slay your dragons in print that will be here until the internet falls. I would say 80-95% of your rants about my commentary are about things I never said. And the times I am wrong I admit it which has happened quite a few times. I remember exactly zero times you have admitted such a thing. You just stop commenting, probably like now unless you choose another non-germane tangent to complain about first.
>And it is possible none of that matters because of the LEGAL asylum claim that was made.
There is no LEGAL recourse for them if Daddy committed crimes under any status with their knowledge. He himself no longer has any legal status as a terrorist. The investigation into how much his family knew is ongoing, but I am sure you have your responses (just like the LSM) all cued up and ready for print. If they are found ignorant of the crimes of their father, asylum will be granted and the rest of the family may regain legal status…and libs will start fighting for the terrorist father. If they are found to have known about the attacks, it will be because the evil Trump has chosen to make an example of them in an extreme miscarriage of justice, not because of any truth to the investigation. Facts mean nothing to liberals anymore, it only matters that they are right and everyone who disagrees is wrong…and bad and evil and more brain damaged than brain damaged children.
Creating and giving teeth to DOGE is already quite an accomplishment. If he had support of politicians instead of just thinking citizens, it would have a lot more teeth. And sorry, but only idiots and the greedy trough feeders can defend Government corruption and massive waste, but that encompasses over 98% of people who still think of themselves as liberals. Why do liberals hate DOGE? The answer is simple, your political leaders are against it because it lessens their power so they TOLD you to hate it.
If we don’t lower spending to debt reducing levels, our society under its current constitution will fall, likely in our lifetimes. That is elementary, but they don’t teach that at any level of schooling today because liberals control them. If Trump can actually get education out of the national Gov’t that will be a great accomplishment that you have been well trained to preach would be more of the Trump devil’s work. You already have your truth. The LSM has told you how bad every policy Trump creates is, even the proposed policies they used to champion and you flip-flop right along with them every time.
>Seriously, learn the laws people. So all your examples don’t pass any sort of logical argument.
See? Even you recognize your argument was illogical. Actually your statement made no sense at all, I was just pointing it out with those bad, but comparable examples to your statement. Maybe you did not mean it that way, but you said:
>As long as his money spent with whatever landlord he had, it wasn’t illegal.
If the money is accepted by other people then it follows that no crime was committed to gain that money? That is what your statement reads, utterly senseless even in your own opinion when applied to other examples. I applied those other examples to your STATEMENT, not to any existing laws. I was trying to figure out what my ‘examples’ even were and this is the only train of ‘thought’ I could come up with. Did I misinterpret or were you referring to some other ‘set of examples’ on some other topic or maybe Jason’s examples, whatever they were? Feel free to not answer, or dig yourself in deeper, it is all the same to me.
From my perspective you were saying that people who illegally obtained money through crimes equated to someone who obtained their money legally. Because as I stated he was here legally contrary to Jason’s ignorance.
I think at this point we are beginning to confuse all the conversation threads here.
1. The guy wasn’t illegal at all.
2. If his family will be subject to the asylum system. It sucks but is understandable if his actions are taken into account even if they didn’t know.
3. Jason doesn’t know what he is taking about.
Those are the facts.
Regarding DOGE, they haven’t done anything. All the money they found still hasn’t actually been taken out of budgets. At this point the departments still have that money to spend in other places. They haven’t SAVED anyone a dime. That is a Congess job.
And as we have seen, Congress has no interest in cutting spending. The Big Ugly Bill just spends more and more. I am on record here saying we need to cut spending and RAISE TAXES on wealthy individuals and corporations.
Start with military cuts. Then foreign aid. That won’t be enough, we will probably have to cut entitlements somewhere. How about NOT spending 45M on a stupid parade to appease our idiot president.
You know why many people hate Doge? Not because they are cutting, but HOW they are doing it. Firing entire depts just to have to crawl back days or weeks later and rehire them. There was little research done into so many of the cuts. You can draw a straight parallel to ICE. Most people have no issue with deporting people, but optics matter. HOW you go about it matters.
WIDE gates and high walls. We need to increase legal immigration and streamline it. We shouldn’t be filling for profit prisons with these people.
I’ll believe Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller who stated…. “He was granted a tourist visa by the Biden Administration and then he illegally overstayed that visa. ”
Over you all day. Just because he applied for asylum doesn’t mean his over stay of a tourist visa makes it a “civil matter”.
>WIDE gates and high walls. We need to increase legal immigration and streamline it. We shouldn’t be filling for profit prisons with these people.
Ok. You sound like Evers. If people continue to commit crimes, the corrective action cannot be to change the law to make the crime not a crime. That’s just stupid.
IF they commit a crime, put them in jail. Otherwise deport them as quickly as legally possible. I don’t want to pay for that shit.
He did enter with that visa. But either him or his wife, it wasn’t clear, got a work visa in 2023.
I would take anything Miller said with a grain of salt as his job is spin. And it doesn’t matter what you think, the law says overstaying your visa is only a civil offense. Look it up yourself. Not a crime.
>And it doesn’t matter what you think, the law says overstaying your visa is only a civil offense.
Well ok, it seems you want it both ways. If its a civil offense, they don’t get public defenders, they don’t have the same right to remain silent, and the burden of proof of violating law is far less. Cool, they’re guilty, send them home.
Wow, that’s worth all your research and quibbling.
But either him or his wife, it wasn’t clear, got a work visa in 2023.
It was Moohamad, and it wasn’t a visa, it was merely an authorization granted by the Biden administration while their asylum application was being processed.
And that expired three and a half months ago.
They lied about the visitors visa (they had no relatives here or planned tourist agenda), then lied on their asylum application filed one month after arriving (the family were not refugees nor were they under any threat).
All this was admitted to by daughter Habiba months before daddy burned 8 people.
Deport them all. Now.
>From my perspective you were saying that people who illegally obtained money through crimes equated to someone who obtained their money legally. Because as I stated he was here legally contrary to Jason’s ignorance.
No, that is what (mainly) you said and why I made that answer. It made little sense.
Read your comment again: >…As long as his money spent with whatever landlord he had, it wasn’t illegal.
That statement means that if the landlord spends it, whatever money he received was now legal.
>Regarding DOGE, they haven’t done anything. All the money they found still hasn’t actually been taken out of budgets.
>They haven’t SAVED anyone a dime. That is a Congess job.
>And as we have seen, Congress has no interest in cutting spending.
>Firing entire depts just to have to crawl back days or weeks later and rehire them.
Huh, so none of DOGE’s ‘ineffectiveness’ is from rogue judges with no rights to block the cuts?. That is your ignorance taught by teachers and the media, nothing to do with truth. Instead of reading Lying Stream Media, read the constitution or the Federalist papers or many other sources describing the constitutional powers. Neither Congress nor Judges have the right to block the President from adding or cutting Executive branch departments, Congress could block adding by not funding the new department, but has no powers to cut or stop the President from cutting them. Look it up. No departments were rehired because we needed them, the cuts were blocked by the Judiciary and had to stay on until the illegal judge blockers appeals can be reviewed and dismissed. Former Presidents had to go to Congress to get the funding for new Executive branch departments, but there is nothing anywhere on the books that blocks the Prez from cutting executive branch departments. Oh, and unlike every new liberal dept, it is not costing much to run. Libs would have already spent billions on an investigation to see if anything could be cut…before finding nothing could be cut.
>WIDE gates and high walls. We need to increase legal immigration and streamline it. We shouldn’t be filling for profit prisons with these people.
More of the liberal BS. If judges were not blocking every possible case of deportation, only the the illegal criminals would be in jail. The other identified illegal immigrants would be in the process of deportation.
Amazing that when a Missouri judge blocked Biden student loan stuff, crickets on that judge overstepping. But you will tell me how that was different.
And actually there are laws preventing the president from firing certain workers.
You are flat out wrong that the govt wasn’t trying to rehire workers they laid off. Not just the ones that the judges blocked. This was widely reported on. IRS and FDA, specifically.
TACO in chief has ALREADY backtracked on immigration enforcement of hotels and farms after significant backlash and fears of price inflation. A real man of his principles. There have been a handful of judges who have blocked some immigrations, but nothing significant.
And they have blocked his use of the Alien Enemies Act. Which we should all be celebrating. I don’t want any president stretching (or breaking) laws to fit their purpose. I don’t have a problem with deportation, but do it by the law. Now it is up to the SCOTUS.
Wide gates! I want it quicker and easier to become a citizen. High Walls. Make it tough to get in. Streamline the asylum and immigration process.
Mark my words. The more Hispanic voters lean R, the more likely the right will start to ease up on immigration processes and work to streamline the system’s.
>Amazing that when a Missouri judge blocked Biden student loan stuff, crickets on that judge overstepping. But you will tell me how that was different.
Sure, I can give you a couple things on that.
1) You can find what 1-3 examples of what your lying stream media says is an equivalent where I can find hundreds of examples of judges blocking all kinds of things, most of which were overturned throughout both of trump’s terms. Not a comparable. There are plenty of examples where “Republicans do it too”, but blocking ultimately legal actions like Democrap Injustices is not one of them.
2) That one judge example of yours did not overstep his authority as it was supported by the higher courts wasn’t it? Again, not even a vague comparable. The President does not have powers in the constitution to forgive Government debt and the courts upheld that truth. Again read about Executive authority powers from the source. You will see (but likely still not admit) that your left biased news sources don’t just lie by omission, they flat out lie to anyone dumb enough to listen…daily. What source told you that the Missouri judge overstepped his authority? That is exactly how a non-partisan judge should have ruled. Biden’s handlers did overstep their authority on forgiving student debt.
>And actually there are laws preventing the president from firing certain workers.
That is true, and much more is the pity for us. You actually support the insular laws that Government wrote for itself to protect its bureaucracy? Those laws are what should be illegal, but we would need libs to actually be told the truth before that has a chance. Those laws were added in the 20th century and really should be repealed as unconstitutional. The people paying the bills, us, (or taking on so much extra debt, not paying them directly at this point) should not want all Government workers to have guaranteed jobs for life complete with better pensions and insurance than most private workers in the US no matter how unnecessary or just plain evil in the case of USAID, for example that their jobs are. When a company cannot afford to pay extra workers, they must make cuts or fold. It is the same with Guv at every level, and should be treated the same way. How does this not make to liberals?
>You are flat out wrong that the govt wasn’t trying to rehire workers they laid off.
Widely reported on by liars? Yea for you. I can read on left leaning Google that about 6700 workers were fired and that “close to 7,000” were rehired because of court determinations, not backtracking. That is an LSM snow job. The early retirement, probationary employees and the hiring freeze are still in effect and there is no reporting that any of these people were asked to take back their offers of early retirement. The news just added the idea that those 6700 firees that were required to be allowed back to their jobs were asked/begged to come back and libs treat it as fact.
>I don’t want any president stretching (or breaking) laws to fit their purpose.
You just showed above that you supported Dems breaking the law, but not Trump. Double standards are SOP for libs though, I understand it and I understand why. You don’t.
>Mark my words. The more Hispanic voters lean R, the more likely the right will start to ease up on immigration processes and work to streamline the system’s.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand the foibles of politicians. It is you that blames/hates only half the Government, which is just stupid today. And I would love to have a better handled process in place, just like I would love to have a Government run adoption agency that was wasn’t so corrupt it is ineffective. Make babies affordable to the people that want them and abortion numbers would drop like a stone. But libs block everything that isn’t put out by them, even the things that they normally support.
