Mequon Public School Abandon Duty to Educate

Despicable. And then the Superintendent hides. What a complete abandonment of public duty to the kids.

The Mequon-Thiensville School District planned to bring kids back to class but decided Monday night to start school virtually.

Many parents said they were blindsided, but in a letter to parents Tuesday afternoon, the superintendent said the risk for COVID-19 spread is just too high to bring kids back in a few weeks.

WISN 12 News tried to ask the superintendent about the decision.

A spokesperson said he wasn’t available.

Next, just like Madison and Oak Creek, they’ll charge for “day care camp”.

    WEAC is out of control.

    Awful. Just awful.

Mequon residents should get all their school taxes back.

Can we call Superintendent a “Hiden’ Biden”?

Has a nice ring to it.

Eggman sez:  WEAC is out of control.

Correction: All teacher unions are out of control.  But that’s not exactly news.

The “School Closed/Pay for Babysitting At School” is happening across the country.

Austin TX,  South Pasadena/Manteca/San Joaquin CA,  Durham NC,  Rockford MI,  Mesa/Gilbert/Cave Creek AZ,  Puyallup WA,  and, of course, NYC.

$140, $160, $200/week per child.   And still gotta pay your school taxes.

Time for some class-action lawsuits if it’s safe enough to open as daycare, but not public education. Get this ridiculous malfeasance before some juries. It’s way past time to send pain back in the other direction. There has to be some ambitious lawyers around who need shiny new boats.

By the way, WEAC is not done yet.  Look closely at the rules-and-regs controlling ‘standard’ schooling this semester.  See the triggers for sudden closing?  Oh, yes, you do:  X number of kids with the SURE DEATH, or Y number of teachers with same.

You can rest assured that many–if not all–of the school buildings will hit those triggers and then……….Boom!!  Paid holidays for the teachers again.

(Don’t) worry, Dad29 – by this time next week, WEAC will have ordered Ev…er…Gau to shutter all schools through the first semester.  After all, even before Karovsky replaced Kelly on the state Supreme Court, a majority said that they could shutter schools.

That’s what happens when you elect a Government Man to SCOWI.

  9. Randall Flagg

shutter all schools through the first semester.

I am assuming the legislature could repeal this, as they could with the mask mandate.  So what do you have to worry about?
