Worst President Ever

While I suspect that these results will remain substantially the same over time relative to each president, I suspect that the huge variances are because the respondents to this poll suffer from recency bias.

I would opine that Obama’s ranking may change depending on the outcomes of the investigations into Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal, Benghazi, Clinton’s email server, the NSA/FBI/CIA spying scandals (plural).  Understandably, wealth and political connections insulated many from actual punishment under the law, but if any of these allegations come to fruition with actual prosecutions, Obama’s lasting legacy may be “He was the first President sent to prison.”

  2. Kevin Scheunemann

The worst president was James B.  (guy before Lincoln).   He suffered from complete and disgusting moral cowardice in dealing with evil and let country fall apart.   There is no argument he is worst president ever.

#2 is arguable, but I give nod to Jimmy C., who also suffered from disgusting moral cowardice in dealing with evil, much like James B.

#3 worst could be Obama but his destructive economic policies and lack of budget may imperil this nation for decades.   If Trump continues to build economic growth to cancel out the Obama economic destruction, Obama may move down to 5th worst to 7 th worst.

  3. Le Roi du Nord

If you are looking at all of them, Harding, Grant, A. Johnson, GWB and Jackson are right in the running for all time worst.

  4. Kevin Scheunemann

GWB never suffered from moral cowardice….like Obama, Carter, etc.

  5. Le Roi du Nord

Sez you.  How many died in Iraq over WMDs that he knew didn’t exist?

  6. Kevin Scheunemann

    Oh Nord,

How many were saved because GWB dealt a crippling blow to the evil of radical Islam?

I place that number in hundreds of thousands.

Then Obama surrendered Iraq to ISIS and we have seen what ISIS does in this country, Europe and it’s own land to innocents.

Obama’s moral cowadice and embrace of evil was reall on display when it came to the failure to deal with ISIS.

Recent statement from the highly decorated retired United States Air Force Lieutenant General, Thomas McInerney, Fingerprints that are now gonna start coming out that will show that the Obama administration was heavily listening to what was going on in the Trump campaign.  They (Democrats) do not want the Trump administration to start looking in at the violation of the Espionage Act by Hillary Clinton with her rogue server and by the President who used a pseudonym on her rogue server and they are both in violation of the Espionage   Act.  They do not want this to come out, so they brought up all these other facts out about Russia.”

He left out Obama weaponizing the Federal Government against his opponents.  I don’t know the law or what law actually applies but if this is proven true, Obama is still my number one.

As for Mr. Scheunemann’s thoughts on Obama’s cowardice, I disagree.  I think he knew exactly what he was doing to accomplish his desired goals.

  8. Kevin Scheunemann

On that part of Obama’s cowardice, I agree.   He had bold abuse of federal government.   That is what liberals do….abuse power.

The moral cowardice in relation to Obama, I was thinking more along the lines of embracing and surrendering to evil like ISIS and encouraging every societal liberal persversion under the sun.

There is a lot to make Obama part of the worst president’s list.

  9. Le Roi du Nord

Befuddled by history once again, eh?

  10. Paul

The white nationalist troll barfed up something again.

Yes, I would agree it is difficult to argue against Mr. Scheunemann’s assessment unless one had similar narcissistic problems.  Things like supporting and funding cutting up living humans or weaponizing the Justice Department to force schools to allow men in women’s locker rooms are just two of Obama’s many transgressions against humanity that come to mind.

I do disagree with Owen that Obama’s assessment will change with time considering all the damage he has done to our Country on so many levels.  I, however, would concede that this liberal sickness is so prevalent in today’s society that his actions are acceptable to many as the norm.  Frankly, 20 years ago would anyone in their wildest dreams ever think taxpayers would be footing the bill for a prison inmates sex change operation?

  12. Kevin Scheunemann

Don’t confuse your lack of reality with obvious historical facts.

You might want to start by not having typical liberal contempt for this country. Liberal contempt tends to twist history into something it is not.

Let go of your liberal contempt for the greatest nation in history of the planet.

Mr. Scheunemann’s assessment of our former President really sparked some deliberative thought on my part.  I think former President Barack Hussein Obama is the poster child for what a Country founded on Judeo-Christian principals has become.

Consider, as compassionate Christians, in 2002, the US took in about 250K refugees.  In Obama’s final year, that number was nearly 900K bringing the 8 year total to over 12M.  Add to that at least another 6M in illegal immigrants.  Each new refugees qualifies for cash welfare, food stamps, housing and medical aid.  So our nation of Christians added millions to our population, costing millions.  So why then has the US, after former Secretary of State Kerry stated that ISIS is responsible for genocide against Christians, abandoned Christians?

April 2009, Obama said the US has a very large Christian population but we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.  Those of us that cling to our guns and religion disagree.  I never really grasped the idea that former President Barack Hussein Obama spent 8 years working to destroy the very soul of our Country so, in that light, he will forever be my number one.

    Thank you Mr. Scheunemann.
