Bucks Arena Won’t Pay Taxes?

Can someone explain this to me?

The city cannot issue tax incremental financing for the arena itself because it is planned as an untaxed nonprofit operation

Maybe I missed something, but why would the arena not pay taxes?

Because the new Bucks’ owners bought and paid for the Milk Carton, and it matches the tax-exempt status of the Bradley Center and Miller Park.

Correction – the Legislature was previously bought-and-paid-for as any sports facility owned by the state, an instrumentality of the state, or a nonprofit corporation is exempt from the property tax (Statute section 70.11 (31).

All we would have to do is accuse the management of new arena of discriminating against some protected liberal group (probaly not Christians) and we could get their tax exemption stripped pretty quickly if we can get the oppressive liberal hatchet swinging to cut it down.

I also want to go after all the tax exemptions in the church of liberalism.

I see… I’m liking this deal less and less.
