Woman Leaves Kids in Car While She Tans

What the hell is wrong with some people?

An employee of the Sun Kissed Tanning Salon, 316 N. Lake Ave. in the Village of Twin Lakes in Kenosha County, said she was walking past the back door of the business around noon on May 23 when she heard a child yelling, “Mommy.” She looked outside and saw the infant and the child in a green Chrysler Cirrus. That’s when she called police.

Officers learned the car belonged to Kruse, who later told police she had left the children in the car for about 10 minutes. Kruse told police she told her boyfriend she was picking up Chinese food, but went and parked behind the salon. She cracked the window of the car and left the kids inside.

Kruse told police she went to the salon because she wanted to look better after giving birth.
