Wasserman’s Assertion

This comment by Representative Sheldon Wasserman got my attention:

And my colleagues will tell me point blank, ‘Sheldon, I’ve got to do what I’m told.’ So in terms of where revenue would be coming from, that’s really off the table”

He’s referring to SE Wisconsin Republican legislators having to do what they are told by talk show hosts Charlie Sykes and Mark Belling. 

Really?  Is that true?  I know that several SE Wisconsin Republican Representatives read this blog and I know many of them personally.  This doesn’t pass the smell test.  I’d like to know who, if anyone, told Wasserman that.  Or is he just making it up to “prove” a point?  I sent an email to Rep. Wasserman to see if he’d name the culprit, if he or she exists. 

Tell us, Sheldon… who told you that?
