Vote Tomorrow

The Wisconsin primary is tomorrow.  Who are you going to vote for?

As a conservative, I’m left without a horse in the race.  There are many conservatives who are planning to cross over and vote for Hillary Clinton because they believe that she is easier to beat in the general election.  As a general rule, such efforts to manipulate an election tend to be useless or backfire.  Primary elections are the time when people have the opportunity to vote for the candidate that they want to represent them in the general election. 

That’s why I’m voting for Fred Thompson.  He’s still on the ballot.  Fred Thompson is not perfect, but he most closely represents my views.  I am casting my vote to tell the Republican Party that their front runner is not who I want at the top of the ticket, even if it is now inevitable.  I want to walk out of the voting booth having voted for my choice for the Republican nominee - not just the choice I’m left with.
