Teachers Union Might Not Bankrupt School Districts

You have to love this.

Teachers union officials, however, have said that such fears are misplaced. They have said they are unlikely to bargain contracts that would bankrupt their school districts, even in the absence of the qualified economic offer law.

“Unlikely?”  In other words, “sure, we may negotiate for contracts that bankrupt the district, but we probably won’t.”
