Reynolds Hides

Ugh.

State Sen. Tom Reynolds is taking a pass on a debate scheduled with his Democratic opponent in a Brookfield church Wednesday after learning there may be non-media video cameras present.

“I was trying to kind of clean up these debates and not have these groups filming their attack ads there,” said Reynolds, who believes that his opponents would be capturing material for later use in a TV ad.

This is ridiculous.  Reynolds is going to a public event.  If he’s worried about people using what he says for attack ads, then he should just watch his mouth.  Reynolds is a public figure and an elected representative.  He should act like it.
