Wood Says He Shouldn’t Be Disciplined By Assembly

Of course he did.

In a resolution released Tuesday, Wood recounts a series of lawmakers who have been charged with a range of crimes dating back to the 1940s. He said the Legislature took no action against them, and shouldn’t discipline him, either.

Wood, a former Republican, suggested he is being treated differently because he is an independent.

  1. I thought he was being treated differently because he’s a train wreck.

  2. Page 11, line 9 says that he has not been convicted of any crime.  Does this only apply to felonies?  He has had at least 2 owi misdemeanors (since pending charges are for a 3rd)

  3. Who cares what Wood says - get rid of him. The guy is a disgrace. He should have resigned a long time ago - but since he gets a salary for sitting in rehab (and breaking it) he’s content to argue this until the cows come home.
