Wood In Jail

Good.

Former state Rep. Jeff Wood was sentenced Wednesday to nine months in jail and three years’ probation after pleading no contest and being found guilty in an impaired driving case in Sparta.

Wood, a Chippewa Falls independent, had been charged with one felony count of operating while intoxicated. A misdemeanor count of bail jumping was dismissed.

Wood was ordered to report to jail on Feb. 18.

Just remember that it was only a few short weeks ago that he cast a deciding vote in the Assembly on behalf of the Democrats.

  1. Well, I guess we won’t be worrying about him voting in the Assembly again! I can’t believe he (attempted to?) jumped bail.
