Woman Laments Hassle to Kill Child

Ugh.

The two pregnancy tests she took early last year were negative, but this time a faint plus sign surfaced in the plastic window. Samantha, 21, knew immediately what she wanted to do.

One week later, Samantha and her partner spoke to a counselor at Affiliated Medical Services, a Milwaukee clinic that provides abortions. She determined she would prefer the medication option to the surgical option. This would allow her to terminate the pregnancy earlier by taking two pills.

Carrying a 21-credit load at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and working 40 hours a week at a coffee shop, Samantha hoped to obtain the abortion as quickly as possible.

I realize that this news story treats this as acceptable behavior, but I think it’s abhorrent. She killed her baby because it was inconvenient for her. Cruel and ruthless.

  1. One less person to pay for my social security when I get that far.

We are 54 million taxpayers short since the Supreme Court decided to add to the demographic problems of social security thanks to Roe v. Wade.

I guess the rest of us slaves…I mean suckers…I mean taxpayers… are going to have to meet the increased social burden, thanks to this abortion.

  3. You know the part of this that I hate the most?

“The two pregnancy tests she took early last year were negative..”

We can have differing opinions on whether birth control coverage should or shouldn’t be required in health insurance plans, but we should all be able to recognize that, vis-a-vis the cost of raising a child (or hell, even getting an abortion), the cost of birth control is a drop in the bucket.

If Samantha is so damn concerned with her future, maybe she should go to the student health center and get a prescription for birth control?

  4. She’s carrying 21 credits? Frankly I don’t even think that is allowed.

There is an easy solution to not ever getting pregnant - don’t have sex. It is 100% effective and costs nothing.

For some reason this is never considered a solid option.

  6. Mark,

No comments from women.  Let them decide.

So sexism is allowed when it comes to murder?

I thought issues where one advocates that one gender has all the power was sexist under the liberal lexicon?

Sexism is OK as long as it is part of the liberal agenda?

    Duly noted.

  7. Mark,

    Let them decide.

Great advice for parents on school choice.

Or what kind of light bulb to buy.

Or what size soft drink to buy.

Wait a minute.  Choice to kill is no problem, but choice of school, light bulb, and soft drink size…we are too stupid to decide on our own?

    I find this very interesting.

  8. Years back liberals were all about not sending young men to war, they even called soldiers baby killers.

Now they openly kill babies with no remorse not to mention have no issues in sending young women into the battlefield.

Oh how the times have changed. What a proud group of people.
