  1. “Second worst” only if you’re not the injured party.  That means that Butler is looking out for the people of Wisconsin against the interests of corporations and business interests who “supported” (wink wink, nudge, nudge) the legislators who wrote those liability limits to keep widows and orphans from collecting their meager due.

Sounds like Butler is the guy to vote for here.  WMC couldn’t even bring themselves to name the guy he’s running against.  He must be another one like that Ziegler.

My, goodness.  Will WMC’s next ad have the werewolves again?

  2. What was that? It was like watching a slide show with too much narration/voice over. And the background music is hideous!

  3. Is this the best WMC can do in its most recent Court Packing scheme?  I would have expected more from an organization that literally bought a Supreme Court seat last year for dirty “judge”.

  4. As a conservative, that is a terrible ad.  Boring and too technical.  The average guy doesn’t even know what “expanded liability” is.

These guys have to find three or four key cases where Butler was the deciding vote….and then explain “what those cases mean to me” i.e. the average citizen.

Explain quickly the higher cost for healthcare and less jobs in Wisconsin are a direct result of Butler from these cases.  Put up some graphics about manufacturing jobs and how many thousand have left Wisconsin….make the connection that many of those jobs continue to leave because of the legal climate.
