Wisconsin in the WSJ

And for all the wrong reasons.

At least 10 states are considering some kind of major increase in sales or income taxes: Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin.

  1. Other than the recent article on Wis. AG JB, when has Wisconsin been in the WSJ for any of the right reasons? WI always seems to make ink for fiscal disasters.

  2. I’m waiting to see how long it takes after the economy recovers for all these tax increases to be repealed.  Want to start a pool?  I got Never.

  4. Could some one name for me who has proposed a “major” sales or income tax increase in Wisconsin?  I know there is a proposed income tax increase for the top tax bracket from 7.75% to 8.75%, and well, nothing else even remotely fitting that description.
