  1. That’s odd.  He must not realize that the Republican party supports a lot of welfare; corporate welfare, farm subsidies, Bush’s medicare drug benefit, the EITC, etc. etc.

    Democrats/Republicans favor welfare.  That’s a fact.

    One thing Tommy Thompson was right on was the W2 Welfare to Work program.

  10. There are plenty of ways to help people with out throwing money at them.

    We just did this for someone in our church - what they really needed was some pointers on how they were handling interviews.

    They got a job today.
