West Bend Town Hall of State Budget Tonight

I’ll be here for the next couple of hours. 

On Wednesday, April 25th, several Washington County legislators will be holding a town hall budget meeting to discuss the proposed state budget with citizens. 

Representatives Pat Strachota, Dan LeMahieu, Sue Jeskewitz and Don Pridemore along with Representative Jeff Stone, a member of the budget writing committee, will be on hand to help answer citizens’ budget questions and hear their concerns.

The town hall meeting will be held from 7-9 pm. Location: 

Moraine Park Technical College (West Bend Campus)
Auditorium (Room T101)
2151 N. Main Street
West Bend, WI

  2. I thought it was a good metting because there was enough time for a back and forth exchange between speakers and legislators.

    The teachers sure know how to turn out the numbers for these events, when will the conservatives show up?

    Rep. Pridemore had an excellent comeback to one teachers lament. She was complaining about lack of funding for teachers and then she went on to complain about Jim Doyle’s hospital tax that is having an adverse effect on her father who is in a nursing home. Rep. Pridemore asked her if she would support the hospital tax if it could be directed toward education?

    She obviously did not like the question and she still did not like the hospital tax. But that is the liberal mantra, as long as the tax does not affect them, then it’s OK
