Ginny has the results of an open records request to prove it.
OPEN RECORDS REQUEST REVEALS THE FOLLOWING:
FINAL BILLING FROM MATOUSEK AND ASSOCIATES:
[...]
TOTAL COST FOR REFERENDUM STUDY, PRINTING AND POSTAGE: $17,679
(Labor not included, which was quoted to me at $21/hr)
*********************************************************
ORIGINAL EMAIL from Pat Herdrich -Note: This is all we were allowed to know, though I explicitly asked for the “total cost of the survey to the taxpayers”.
Email:
I received your request with respect to the survey costs.
The contract cost with the research firm Matousek & Associates out of Green Bay is $10,500 for the study.Let me know if you need any further information.
Pat
If they didn’t provide the cost of labor then the open records request has not been filled. Ginny if I were you I would make sure they know they haven’t followed through with the request due to the lack of labor costs…
Thanks for the push, Tom. I have requested this twice, and never received the labor cost. The first request was filled with only the BID from Matousek, as that is all that the public was supposed to see. This is quite an astounding difference in reported cost to the taxpayers, and it is a clear lack of integrity.
How is anyone supposed to back a referendum proposed by a school board who is not forthcoming and transparent? I say, trust needs to be EARNED.
