West Bend School Board Candidate Forum

If you want to get to know the three candidates on the ballot for the West Bend School Board, they will be holding a forum at the West Bend library on March 14th from 6 PM to 7 PM. I’m not sure what the format will be, but it’ll be a great chance to hear from the candidates - Randy Marquardt, Tim Stepanski, and Karen J. Betz. West Bend voters will pick two of the three.

1. I think a great, timely, question for the candidate forum is:

   Was Hugo Chavez a good leader advocating good public policy?

   Anyone thinking this socialist was a good leader should NOT be in charge of educating kids.

   Or another great question:  is Obama taking us down the destructive socialist road Chavez took his country?

   I think that would provide great candidate insight on whether the person is smart enough to be in charge of education.
