7. That’s funny. Wish I had tuned in, but somebody needs to keep working and pay for ObamaCare (We are in the medical device arena).
   I hope we can still laugh together in this country.

   As long as the lunatic fringe of the right continues as the loudest voice of conservatives. One of the reasons Obama won was that he kept the left leaning nut jobs out of the headlines.

   Is it Sensenbrenner for having good sense to vote against the compromise on fiscal cliff?

    None of those you mention are part of GOP debate on fiscal cliff, or have any real power in GOP leadership?

    So Sensenbrenner and Johnson are OK with you?

    They are considered the “lunatic fringe” by most liberal standards.

12. Kevin, you shouldn’t ask a question if you don’t want an answer.
    Out of the five, four ran for the Senate and one for the House as Republicans within the past five years. All have big mouths.
    I am fine with the fiscal conservatism of both Johnson and Sensenbrenner. I do prefer the smarter versions of Walker, Ryan, or Hovde.
    We need to concentrate on the economy. You want to make everything a cultural war. It’s simply unproductive.

    None of the people you named have any power in today’s GOP.

    So I take issue with you saying the GOP has gone to the “lunatic fringe”...unless you put Sensenbrenner and Johnson in that category.

    If we are truly worried about elected lunatic fringe, let’s start with Tammy Baldwin.

    I just don’t stand by when fine Republicans, including those who consider themselves Tea Party, are smeared by liberals who are intolerant of diverse political viewpoints.
