I’ll be on WPR for the Week In Review with host Joy Cardin tomorrow. Tune in!
I’ll give you a buck if you can work in the word “platypus.”
Challenge accepted!

Here is a suggestion on how to collect your $1:

How many times is Bob going to call conservatives “nuts” or “crazy”?
BINGO!
I heard “platypus”.
Even got a laugh from the liberal(s)!
Somebody owes me a dollar.
That’s funny. Wish I had tuned in, but somebody needs to keep working and pay for ObamaCare (We are in the medical device arena).
I hope we can still laugh together in this country.
How many times is Bob going to call conservatives “nuts” or “crazy”?
As long as the lunatic fringe of the right continues as the loudest voice of conservatives. One of the reasons Obama won was that he kept the left leaning nut jobs out of the headlines.
Charlie,
Exactly, who is the “lunatic fringe” of the Republican Party?
Is it Sensenbrenner for having good sense to vote against the compromise on fiscal cliff?
Wow Kevin, that’s easy.
Akin, Mourdock, Angle, O’Donnell, West…
I doubt if they got a Christmas card from Mitt.
Just had to pass this on.
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
[C.S. Lewis]
Charlie,
None of those you mention are part of GOP debate on fiscal cliff, or have any real power in GOP leadership?
So Sensenbrenner and Johnson are OK with you?
They are considered the “lunatic fringe” by most liberal standards.
Kevin, you shouldn’t ask a question if you don’t want an answer.
Out of the five, four ran for the Senate and one for the House as Republicans within the past five years. All have big mouths.
I am fine with the fiscal conservatism of both Johnson and Sensenbrenner. I do prefer the smarter versions of Walker, Ryan, or Hovde.
We need to concentrate on the economy. You want to make everything a cultural war. It’s simply unproductive.
Angle, Akin, Murdoch, O’Donnell, & West are the “loudest voices” of conservatism? Louder than Ryan, Johnson & Sensenbrenner?
Charlie,
None of the people you named have any power in today’s GOP.
So I take issue with you saying the GOP has gone to the “lunatic fringe”...unless you put Sensenbrenner and Johnson in that category.
If we are truly worried about elected lunatic fringe, let’s start with Tammy Baldwin.
In a shocking turn of events, Kevin thinks no republicans are on the fringe but picks a tame democratic senator as his shining example of lunatic liberal
VA,
I just don’t stand by when fine Republicans, including those who consider themselves Tea Party, are smeared by liberals who are intolerant of diverse political viewpoints.
