Vrana Resigns

Thank you for your service, and get well.

Terry Vrana is resigning after 16 years as West Bend’s District 7 alderman.

Currently the longest-serving alderman, Vrana said he’s stepping down immediately on doctor’s orders. He said he will turn in his resignation on Wednesday.

Last spring Vrana was diagnosed with polymyositis, a rare muscle disease.

“I’m not feeling well,” he said. “I’ve been through a lot and it’s just been a difficult year.”

  2. I’m grateful to have been able to serve with him, if only for one term.  A straight shooter, and a true friend of the taxpayers.

    Get well soon.
